Okay for those of you streaming... I have a question I honestly do not know the answer to. SO if your phone is receiving the signal (instead of the head unit in the vehicle) I know your phone is processing the signal with a DAC... or you would not be able to hear it on the phone. SO... what signal is then being sent to the head unit? processed or raw unprocessed? and how you connect your phone to the head unit... WIFI or bluetooth... I would guess Bluetooth would have the lesser bandwidth but I do not know for sure, do either of these transfer protocals compress any of the signal? I know if I stream over hardwire straight to a quality DAC I can reproduce a high quality product if the original source is lossless and of high quality to begin with. I KNOW that the quality of the original source is first and foremost because I have reproduction equipment that makes it very easy to tell the difference.

I have just always wondered about this... Part of what has kept me away from streaming, that and Lossless was actually not easy to come by over streaming platforms in the past.... (may have been around a decade or more but that is not very long to an old man like me).
