Squirrel may have destroyed my 2.7 not by chewing

After finishing a game of golf I turned on the bronco via app and came out to it with a million lights on and it at 270 degrees. Turned it off and noticed the serpentine belt was loose, but still intact.

After getting some of the air hoses outta the way, I found a pretty torn up squirrel chilling on my skid plate. Dunno if I’m allowed to post any of the pics, but it was bad..

After cleaning out the squirrel and putting the belt back on, it’s drinking coolant like it’s trying to get drunk and the oil still looks clean and not overfilled, but no puddles.

How long does it take for the oil to turn into chocolate milk if it is screwed, or where else would it be going?

It’s at ford rn, but I waiting for a response is driving me nuts. Should I start shopping for a new one?

The oil would turn into a milkshake pretty damn fast if there was as much coolant intrusion as you make it seem.

It only takes a drive around the block for oil to turn to foam if there's coolant in it. It happens quite quickly, but your engine won't be toast if you don't drive it much more than that. I think your coolant is going somewhere else.

Thanks for putting my mind to ease about coolant in the oil. Hopefully then can figure out where it’s going and fix it soon. Enterprise gave me a Sentra.. I don’t know how somebody can live like this.

Pressure testing the cooling system will show thr location of the leak.

I think the coolant may glow under UV light. I know some do.

Wait, so you're telling me that when the bronco is remote started, the computer isn't smart enough to shut the engine off immediately if it overheats?? What if it loses oil pressure? Shutting the engine off without warning while you are driving would be one thing, but when the vehicle is sitting there unattended, why on earth would they not take every precaution to protect the engine?

If it's losing coolant and it's not in the oil, most likely out of the exhaust. Still would be a head gasket at least

My stepdad had a F150 that he never drove, and it sat in a driveway one day he does the automatic start, and it was a family of squirrels living in the engine compartment.

I understand the annoying because after we cleaned out all the carnage pretty much all the wires and the protectors were eaten. They love whatever glue that Ford put in the 2005 F150

If you just added coolant after it had boiled off when the Bronco overheated maybe you still have air in the system that has to vent out by running it.
