Transmission fluid / other fluid extractor / dispenser cleaning

Hello all, coming up to 50k, wanting to do an early 1st transmission service (fluid & filter). Then looking to do a poor man’s flush (drain 6qt, put in new 6qt, run to temp, repeat once) every 50k after and filter change every 100k.

I’m looking to invest in a 2-way fluid extractor / dispenser for this and other fluid service (filling the diffs at my 30k diff service was kind of a pain)

My question is this, what is the proper cleaning procedure for the pump between extracting old fluid and dispensing new fluid? Or is it worth to just buy them separately?

They sell solvents for cleaning transmission lines before filling with new fluid. I am personally just using brake cleaner between.

I used a Mityvac fluid extractor, I suck out the old fluid and mark the outside of the canister and clean it out with brake cleaner and the with clean fluid the fill to my mark with new fluid. That way I put back just what I took out. I have been using the Mityvac for about 20 years or so the trucks at work don't have transmission drain plugs either.

At about 3000 miles since new. I used a Miyvac. Got about 8-9 qts out of I recall. Added extra cap pan PPE pan and OEM new filter. Put in the same amount of Amsoil LLV with additional. Made sure to get it up to temp and check the little fill pip.
