I don't vacuum my vehicles frequently enough to ever have considered buying a car vac. I just use the cordless house vac, or the corded shop vac.

A low price would be important to justify buying a vacuum specifically for vehicles, but even then it would need to have some very unique features for that use that other vacs don’t satisfy. I dunno what those would be, but maybe a long hose to manipulate around the interior, especially in foot wells. You’d probably get better feedback asking professional car detailers what features a good car vac should have.

Charging time would be irrelevant given the infrequent use.

Same thoughts here. I have a Rigid shop vac, with multiple accessories, including the vehicle-specific long narrow one to get down between seats (a like $10 accessory at the time I think?). I simply run an extension cord out to the driveway when I need to vacuum everything out. Given how I prefer to have multi-purpose tools, and how multi-purpose a shop vac is, I don't know that there's anything I would find useful enough to buy a 'dedicated for vehicles' vacuum.
