I am in the market for the raptor style running boards. How do you like them?
LOVE them! They look exactly like the OEM boards on my buddy’s Bronco Raptor. I cut the “B” off the Braptor badge, painted the edge and WoolWaxed the underside when I did my Bronco this past Fall.

I might soon be buying a 2025/26 BB +BD Bronco optioned with Raptor running boards I don't want (I think). These seem pretty rare, and in demand, so what would these sell for?

I'm also open to being sold that I really do want to keep them.

Keep or sell depends on your use case. Not ideal for rock crawling or other clearance needs, but good for general purpose off-roading and easier step-in for the vertically challenged. 🙂

Had the exact experience with the rock slinger tires. Nitto Ridge Grapplers significantly addressed the problem.

I also love mine. They can be removed when you need more clearance. However, I'll be replacing mine soon with the power step sliders from Rockslide Engineering. That's so my orthopedically challenged wife can deal with the larger tires and lifted suspension about to be installed. Right now, she finds the Raptor steps marginal. I find them to be at the perfect height.

Don't buy running boards thinking you will take them off for off-roading and put them back on later. It’s more trouble than it’s worth.

I have ran across 2 on facebook marketplace and both sold for $600. I was 2nd in line for them and both times the 1st person who reached out bought them.
There are aftermarket ones that are new for $400.

Depends on the use case. My plan had been to take them off in mid-March when I start to hit desert trails (wife doesn't like "bumpy roads" so it's just me), and put them back on in early November when my Bronco use changes to taking her up to the snowy mountains on paved roads. Now I'll have the RSE sliders on year-round instead, as I mentioned above.

That's kind of an edge case--a scenario where you don't need them half of the year. Usually, if you bought them, you need them. Your wife doesn't get in your Bronco for six months.:)

I have both (OEM Raptor-style running boards) and no problems with rock chips. I may be changing to the RSE power steps and losing some protection - we'll see how that goes.
If you want to sell the raptor boards lmk!

I know tires have been talked about thousands of times, and I have read just about all the threads. I just purchased a badlands sasquatch 4 door. I live on a farm in Southwest Virginia. Our driveway is a mile long gravel road. These Goodyear Territory RT that came on it are throwing out so many small rocks even with mud flaps I am still hearing the rocks hit the vehicle once I am on the highway.
Any tire recommendations from those who drive on a gravel road a lot? I am leaning toward falken wildpeak at4 but still hesitant to pull the trigger on $2,000 to replace brand new tires.

Thanks!
Nitto Ridge Grapplers and the Nitto G3 have been great at not throwing rocks, especially the Ridge Grapplers.

What kind of mud flaps do you have? Seeing the paint horror stories I saw and read about, before my OBX Sasquatch hit the pike I purchased a set of IAG mud flaps.
The protection all around has been great so far. My son and I went to the Carlisle, PA 60th Anniversary Bronco Bash and one of the parking lots had crushed stone. I heard pings, but they were bouncing off the bottom of the running boards and mud flaps and not my doors.
Find the right protection and hope for the best. At first I thought about going to my local body shop and have a clear “stone shield” sprayed along the bottom 12” of my Bronco. That being said, in order to maintain the rugged look of the Bronco get used to the “rock checkers”. I cringe when I see a vehicle coming towards me with those tires and hope I don’t take a bullet in the windshield flying out of them.😂

The Goodyears RTs are the worst, and don’t let anyone convince you that it will get better with some miles. Mine are just as bad with rocks after 26k as they were new. I made a post with pics:

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/goodyear-color-me-impressed.133588/

The good news is I have no significant dings underneath and zero paint chips on the body after 14 months. Nada. I have the huge 2025+ OEM side steps and no front flaps and the steps have prevented any damage so far. I added XL back flaps just to spare the cars behind me.
