Tank held fluid fine, as I topped it up the day prior but when I tried to use the washers (first time ever on the new to me Bronco) nothing came out. Then after I stopped a few minutes later, I noticed fluid running down from front passenger side and puddling under the Bronco.

I would assume that with as much fluid as was still dripping down minutes after I tried to use it that the reservoir must have had a good bit of fluid in it when I tried to wash windshield. So I'm thinking a hose popped off when I activated the switch.

What do you all think my odds are for an easy fix?

Quite a few posts on here about people having same problem, including me. It’s about 50/50 the tank has a crack where the 2 halves of plastic are welded together or the other problem if I remember right was a I think the seal where the pump plugs into bottom side of reservoir. Need to pull flare and inner fender liner to get to it. Not too difficult.

Either of those would explain the tank emptying but not that nothing came our on windshield while tank obviously still had fluid.

Oh ok, a few posts on here about that too. I think people were finding that the tank wasn’t venting properly and that’s what was causing that problem and their fix for that was drilling a small hole, I can’t recall, if it was drilled in cap or neck just below cap. Try doing a search on here for “washer fluid not spraying” I’m sure you’ll find the posts. Maybe hose did pop off. Once you get that fender liner down fill it up with water and you’ll see where it’s coming from.

As I said I have both the emptying AND no output at the same time

Which was why I asked about the possibility of a hose popping off.
