Thanks!
I get out Colorado-way frequently and I wouldn’t mind making a point of bring my Badlands into Kyle‘s shop knowing he has experience and knows what he’s doing regarding Bronco tops.

Details look pretty good!
So he removed the rear cap side glass windows, and re-adhered them back in place? Wow.

My other concern would be not getting too much Line-X in the pockets where roof racks are attached.

Yours is the best write-up I’ve seen yet from someone who’s Line-X’d their top. Hopefully you can chime in down the road and let us know how it’s holding up. 👍
He didn’t remove the side glass - just taped them off. I’m able to get my Prinsu rack on no problem, so not too much spray in there.

@Eldowerks finally doing the write-up and pics…

Read the forums about cracked roofs, some on their third or fourth roof, and was glad I didn’t have it - until discovering cracks and warping drying my roof in February. Brought it to the dealer immediately, since I had 33k and I’m coming up on 3 years, as well.The issue seems to be luck of the draw on manufacturing; mine’s more of a pavement princess, though I off-road several times/year. It’s garaged.

Dealer’s really solid, but said Ford would only replace the front and center panels now - though I had honeycombing on the back. They said replacement roof is up to $10k; no thanks. As soon as they installed the replacement panels I drove to Line-X. I went with Premium for the UV protection; owner has been with Line-X 24 years and doesn’t recommend Ultra - doesn’t even carry it. It was about 4 hours and just under $1k out the door (taxes kill ya.)

I really like the roof. It added some weight (dunno how much; it’s not terrible, but the center panel is definitely more awkward. I think the Bronco’s quieter too, but not certain. Glossier than I expected, but not obnoxious. I see it as peace of mind; didn’t want the rear cap to fail right after warranty expired.

Looks great. This is what I'm going to do with mine as soon as the 3/36 is up.

These cracked roofs are proof that weed needs to be legalized. My Bronco’s build date was 4/20 so you know those workers were smoked up. AND I HAVE ZERO CRACKS.

Fact.

Perhaps you need to stop smoking weed and take a closer look at your top. It most likely has cracks, lol .

Twice in one post you assume facts with zero evidence.

a) who said anything about me smoking weed? I believe in freedom from big government busybodies. That means I believe all citizens have rights that I may or may not support.

b) zero cracks in my roof. Despite your passive-aggressive statement about how I “most likely” have cracks. Don’t project the problems of your Bronco onto mine.
