What is this Raptor rear axle shock mount forged bracket for?

Just noticed this piece on my Raptor. Looks pretty substantial like a tow hook but I’m sure this is for some other purpose as it’s mounted in the shock tower gusset of the rear axle.

Not positive……but I seem to remember that being asked her before and if memory serves me correctly, it was said those points are used during assembly. Hope I’m not mistaken
