Greatly appreciate all the comments...one thing with the Badlands is that due to the lift and extra weight when driving 90% tarmac time, it reminds me of the old kids (when I was a kid anyway) commercial saying : "Weebles wobble, but they dont fall down". I guess since I'm getting to old fart stage I need to chill a bit and enjoy the journey more! :)

Ouch!!! Pavement Princess! I deserved that!!! One must have is very tight handling (spirited) on tarmac; the only niceties are powered seats and dual zone Heat/AC.
You just disqualified ALL Broncos from your list.

Then get a 4Runner! Seriously, I love the Bronco but not for reliability.
Current Toyota's aren't doing so hot in the reliability department either.

True for current-gen Tundra engines. My three older Toyotas (2001 Tundra, 2004 Siena, 2020 Tundra V8) have been nearly bulletproof. My friends' older 4Runners have been great. No vehicles are perfect forever.

My only other new Ford, a 2017 Shelby GT350, has been great aside from some panel-fitment sloppiness, but has only 10k miles and never sees inclement weather. I bought an 8-year extended warranty but never needed it.
