I am going to add the HOSS 3.0 setup from Ford to my recently purchased 2 door HEL and was wondering if an owner adds a winch and carries tools/etc in back would the 4 door shocks work better than the 2 door versions.

What are the differences between the 2 and 4 door versions?

In theory, yes. A 4DR is heavier thus the spring is "heavier".

I do, but I also have the 2.3 manual instead of the 2.7 auto.
The 4 door is heavier so the springs will be a little heavier.
Not sure they will completely offset the weight of the winch.
May have to run a level up front.

I didn't realize all the HELs were V-6.

So possibly better to go with the 2 door version and just add the Eibach springs to it?

Probably better than crossing your fingers on the 4 door ones... And still having to do springs if it doesn't work out.
