Ford Bronco ARB Summit Winch Bumper vs Zenith Non-Winch Front Bumper: Which Is Right for Your Bronco Build? Untitled design (3)

If you’ve been off-road with your Bronco, you already know that the factory front bumper wasn't exactly designed with the trail in mind. It looks the part, but when it comes to protection, recovery points, and lighting, it's leaving a lot on the table. Swapping it out for something purpose-built is one of the best moves you can make for your build.

If you didn’t already know, we make two front bumper replacements for the Ford Bronco: the Zenith Non-Winch Front Bumper (3280020B) and the Summit Winch Bumper (3480010B).

Interested in checking these bumpers out but not sure which one is for you, here's a straight breakdown so you can make the call.

ARB Front Bumpers for the Ford Bronco
Ford Bronco ARB Summit Winch Bumper vs Zenith Non-Winch Front Bumper: Which Is Right for Your Bronco Build? Untitled design (2)

The Zenith Non-Winch Front Bumper is built for Broncos running narrow fender flares, and it comes ready to go with fog light housing and an integrated LED light bar already assembled. If you want a clean, capable front end without hunting down extra components, this one does a lot of the work for you right out of the box.

The Summit Winch Bumper is our winch-ready option, and it's the more versatile of the two. It fits both narrow and wide fender flares, blends naturally into the Bronco's body lines, and is built to handle winches up to 10,000 lbs. If a winch is part of your plan, which it absolutely should be if you’re spending any time in the backcountry, this is the bumper to build around.

What Both Front Bumpers Include
Ford Bronco ARB Summit Winch Bumper vs Zenith Non-Winch Front Bumper: Which Is Right for Your Bronco Build? Untitled design (1)

Regardless of which direction you go, both bumpers deliver:
  • Heavy-duty steel construction for serious trail protection
  • Twin jack points for ARB and mechanical jacks
  • Twin forged ARB-rated 8T recovery points
  • Wing design that clears up to 37" tires (with appropriate lift and offset)
  • Adaptive cruise control and parking sensor compatibility
  • OE LED fog light compatibility
  • Integrit black textured powder coat finish
  • 3-year warranty
Either bumper is a major step up from stock; the right choice comes down to your specific build goals.

Which One Should You Choose?

Go with the Non-Winch Bumper if you're not running a winch, you've got narrow fender flares, and you want a bumper that's ready to work the moment it's bolted on. And if you want an integrated LED light bar and pre-assembled fog light housing, this one is a no-brainer.

Go with the Summit Winch Bumper if a winch is on your radar, whether you're in the market for one now or buying in the future. It's also the smarter call if you're running wide fender flares or thinking about upgrading down the road, since it fits both. The winch compatibility opens the door to more technical terrain, where getting yourself unstuck will happen.

Questions?
At the end of the day, the decision really comes down to one question: Is a winch part of your build? If yes, go with the Summit. If not, go with the Zenith. Both bumpers are available directly on our website.

If you have any questions about our front bumpers for the 6th gen Bronco, drop them below. We're happy to help. Still on the fence? Share your build specs and let us know what terrain you're tackling, and we'll help you dial it in.

I have the rear one and I will say it is built like a brick Sh!t-house, almost overkill and heavy for what is. It was a serious PITA to put on but looks great, I had the red powder coated to orange to match. I do wish the license plate would fit in that open area instead of the tire or off to the side of the tire as I have mine.

On the front, is it as PITA (Zenith) as the rear to put on? Any specials or anything? When I bought the rear y'all had like a 1 day sale and it was nearly half off! Only way I could get the boss to say yes (wife). Nobody judge, almost all of us answer to them lol!

Thanks in advance.

I bought the Zenith front and rear bumpers last month because they were such an amazing deal. I could use a winch and I might upgrade to the Summit bumper if it ever goes on sale. I am loving these bumpers so far!

Neither are particularly attractive. The Ford Warn factory install on the heavy-duty modular bumper still looks the best.

Can you order an ARB bumper without the sensor holes, or are they all built with the Swiss Cheese holes and the butt ugly plugs installed?

Can I trade you some bent ARB sliders for a bumper?
While we would love to see a new bumper on your Bronco, trading isn't an option that we offer. But when you do get our bumper, send us a photo!
