Hey all. First real post here. Looking for some advice/technical expertise.

2021 Bronco Sport Badlands.

So, about a week ago, my passenger side turn signal started making the "quick click" noise. In some of my other vehicles, this always meant there was a bulb issue. So, after checking, my rear turn signal was out. I went and bought some bulbs, swapped them out, but the problem didn't go away. I swapped the entire module from the passenger side to the driver side, and the turn light worked as it should. I checked the one from the driver side when it was connected to the passenger side, and the bulb did not light up. Actually, when I say didn't light up, that's not exactly true - it lights for a split second and then nothing. Same thing happens when I put the hazards on. At a loss here as I suppose it may be wiring.

Fast forward to yesterday, now the driver's side is fast clicking, too, but it's the driver side brake light instead of the left blinker.

Took it to the local O'Reilly's and had them do an OBD scan which returned absolutely nothing.

Anybody seen/heard of this? I'd rather not take it to the dealer if I don't have to. Any help or direction would be very much appreciated.

Back in the day of mechanical flashers quick flashing meant there were too many bulbs in the circuit or a short. Electronic flashers probably act differently.

Have you done any wiring recently? Driven through any real deep water or heavy storms?

Look at the parking light on the side of the grill. There is a blinking bulb there as well that will cause the fast blink if burned out.

disregard…you’re looking for sport help

Seriously, go to the dedicated Sport forum. There is probably some one there who has run across the same issue.

Overfilled blinker fluid reservoir.
Either that or Chinese blinker fluid. Chinese blinker fluid causes blinkers to wear out prematurely and also voids the warranty.

Yabbut, you can save 13 cents a bottle over the good stuff made in Libya from pure, free-range bat guano and sustainably farmed Mediterranean Kelp.
