I've had a few times on cooler nights with the roof off (and/or doors) where rear seat passengers would appreciate the heated rear seats.

Yep agree that’s fair! In the wife’s merc, rarely are the windows down and roof open when chilly out. Different animals!

So my guess is without sway-bar disc, mod bumper and perhaps a few other missing items, its target is just what most of you are saying. Carve out defender customers that like the thought of something appearing a bit more aggressive out of the box. Also adds to the performance separation with the Raptor (in addition to the de-tune). A much different customer base than most raptor customers I would think.

The lack of 4A (if true) seems surprising as I would guess the defender market would use that much more than 4L.

I kinda like the Filson partner concept and I think it continues the EB edition/tradition somewhat updated. I'm certainly not knocking any of our brethren for liking or deciding to choose one. To each...

The First Edition has 4A and the sway bar disconnect. There are a few photos and videos of the copper colored Bronco with everything. I am thinking the base Filson might as well but the green one they had at the reveal was a preproduction which is evident by the half digital instrument cluster. All broncos come standard with the full digital one now.

It should have everything the Badlands with the Wildtrak package has but to another level

I like Filson (bomb proof gear) and like the collab and the result.

That said, I'm quite surprised they not only gave it the Raptors 3.0, but as per Fords official word (posted prior by @HighVelocity), are also giving it the exact same power as the Raptor (418 hp).

It's my observation that brands are extremely hesitant to dillute halo brand key features/specs. Sure they will use the naming and make lesser models (e.g. BMW M and Toyota TRD) but are careful not to fully encroach on thinks like engine, power, etc.

I think this quieter interior thing is across all 2026 models.
My new 4 door Big Bend is noticeably quieter by far, than my 2024 and 2021 models 🤷🏻

Curious how many Raptor owners will be looking to trade for the Filson FE?

Simple poll - No need to explain the differences and why one would consider.

👍 this post if you are considering a trade

 this post if you wouldn't consider a trade.

I was trying to figure out where they're mounting the camera for it, but couldn't see a second camera lens in any of the promo shots
“Digital rear view mirror” camera is integrated into the 3rd brake light on the Raptor. I’d assume the same is true for the Filson.

All this talk and no mention if the windows rattle when you open the door... 🤔

Again, I'm sure this is targeting new buyers. Maybe some will trade in. Those with disposable income.

This seems like it's basically the King Ranch version of the Bronco. Many people choose that over a Raptor F150, so it makes sense.

I have a deposit on the Scout Terra... A truck, so I can justify the "need" and still keep the Bronco. Fixed roof, so definitely quieter. And premium interior options if they stay true to the pictures they've released so far.

Just gotta wait until 2029 or 2030 or whenever they release it...

Yes I believe that is true. My 2026 is really so so much quieter from my 2021. The 2021 has the lux package as well at the 26. My 2026 has that new soundscreen acoustic glass and improved seals I believe.

This build definitely exceeded my expectations - I think it looks great! Not usually a fan of green but the Field Green launch color is really nice and I could also see the interior working well with some of the grays like Marsh.

The lack of 4A (if true), seems surprising as I would guess the Defender market would use that much more than 4L.
This has to be a pre-production thing right?? This is certainly targeting the Defender crowd taking weekend ski trips so 4A feels like an absolute must-have... I'm also curious if sway bar disconnect is going to be absent.

Curious how many Raptor owners will be looking to trade for the Filson FE?
It's nice but no chance!

Well I’m in as long as ford/dealers don’t jack with the price, I’ve been saying it since day one should have offered the 3.0 in the bronco

Yeah, a bunch of things got reconfigured.
Dash USB ports look like they're standard now (at least standard mid pack)...
Maybe they tossed in the high/lux sound deadening as well. I definitely think they made changes to the roof...if not, the seals are definitely better.
