Can you tell me about the collapsable ladder you have stowed in this pic?

That’s the freespirit recreation ladder. I had just enough roof to store it there. I used some adhesive sense foam under it and three Modl infinity bungie straps to hold it down

Took some inspiration from your build.

+1 for the Kingpin lighting. Went with 2 12” F-Series mounted in the same spots that you have them. Wanted the red lights to fight the bugs at night. They had a 4th of July sale that included the 360 degree mounts. Very happy with them.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you mount & run the wires on these? I'm looking to do the same set up on my build, especially since I added the MASS shelf as well.

This thread is one of the ones I used in my research for adding the Kingpin interior lights. I have the newer OEM painted hard top and my installer leveraged the internal caveties in the hard top to route the wires (he drilled a small hole to the interior for clean access points). He also drilled a small hole on the lip of the lift gate to route the wire from the underside to the top, where it then just follwed the OEM wiring route. I have some related photos in the build thread I did https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...s-winch-and-lights-build.117710/#post-2575645.

I purchased the extra search mounts for these and attached them with the self tapping screws that come with those. The mounts allow for 360 degree movement so I can aim the lights however I’d like. They also come with 3m tape to mount as well.

For the wiring I got the power supply kit from Kingpin that I ran directly from the battery, through the firewall rubber plug, and through the lower trim panels all the way to the back. I got some 20AWG cable off of Amazon to use to run the lights together.

Sorry for the late response. The others above posted some good advice. I ran a wire connected to an add-a-fuse from the fuse box under the steering wheel back to the panel and spliced in a toggle switch

The two lights are bolted as seen below:

I ran the wires through a hole I drilled and then used a rubber grommet to keep them nice. Drilled a few more holes for the zip ties and had the wires follow the factory harness. I also spliced in a quick disconnect near the factory disconnects so I won’t have issues if I ever need to remove the roof.

I don't usually plug in build journals but you might enjoy the latch mount I make. Curious what a photographer thinks of these.

Awesome build. I’m slightly concerned for your camera lenses, especially if you’re going off-road. I would want soft foam in those slots custom cut for each lens so you get zero movement. That’s just me and I’m paranoid about these things.
Fantastic build @Direvarg . I've got a similar AAL drawer/shelf/fridge set up. Nice stuff.

That said, and on the flip side of the above, it seems that hard metal tools, inside super durable bags, inside of foam lined cavities, inside beefy aluminum drawers, might be, just a bit of overkill . To each their own...

On the front, I mounted the Westin brush guard directly to the stock metal bumper. I have two yellow Baja LP6s I will be mounting to it soon as well as a Warn Winch mounted via Lobo Offroads Hidden winch mount. I'm still waiting on some parts for that though. I'm also going to be installing American adventure labs dual battery setup under the drawers in the trunk but also waiting on that.

I have been search around for front end brush guard or bumper. I like the ARB Summit but I also the mod bumper is simple not moving sensors and adaptive cruise. Being in deer country the Summit appears as it could lay a deer down without much trouble. What is your opinion on your Westin brush guard?

It’s fairly light weight, I think it’d be fine against a deer but I wouldn’t trust it against an elk or moose. Had a friend destroy the front end of his Tacoma last year hitting an elk up where I live. If you’re really concerned, totally go with something more beefier than the Westin brush guard. One other thing to consider is it sits very close to the front grill. There’s not a lot of clearance if it gets damaged and bent inwards

That was one of my concerns how close it sits if there was an impact. I appreciate the straight forward answer.
