I would assume some dealerships, and/or Ford, are *always* looking to void warranty coverage when and if possible. It’s standard insurance industry practice (and a warranty is just a type of insurance) and it’s how money gets made, when carefully balanced with customer satisfaction (or lack thereof). Definitely a consideration in getting the burliest stock configuration possible. If it breaks before 3/36,000, they fix it. If it’s aftermarket? Maybe.
