I have the KO3 in the load range F. I have had them just over a year. Did a trip to Moab, a trip through Nevada and California and just got back from Baja last month. So I have about 3500 miles of dirt on them and 7000 miles of pavement.
At first these tires chuck rocks like nobody’s business but have seemed to calm down now that I got some miles on them. I drove in snow once, but I never drive in snow so not sure how they compare, but two different time on that drive the Bronco felt squirrely on me and I was just going down a slight grade no throttle and no gas at about 20 mph. Might have been the Bronco traction control doing something crazy not sure.
these are really quiet I can hear or cars with street tires passing me over these tires when rolling top off.
I did lose about 1-2 mpgs with the heavier tires, but I really like them.

My stock Sasquatch GY's are at 30k miles and have some tread left but I wouldn't mind replacing them soon.

The KO3 and A/T III seem to be the best fit for:
- Weight (don't want anything 7x lbs)
- Noise (want quieter than the GYs)
- Wet / Snow pavement performance

Anyone have experience with both?
I did a lot of research on tire replacements for myself, focusing on weight though. Ended up on Mickey Thomson Baja EXPs. The stock gy-mt are extremely light and are basically in their own class and these were close to that stock weight.

My mpg seemed unaffected by the EXPs. I haven’t taken them off road, in snow, and now that I think about it I haven’t been in a good rain storm either. Just providing another tire to consider.

I found that overall lift had a greater effect on MPG than tire weight. But that was a totally non-scientific seat-of-the-pants observation.

Thanks but Tirerack is showing those 1lb heavier than the BFG and Toyos?

I want to save my Firestone Destination XT for their amazing winter performance (better than Blizzak DMV2) and get other for Summer ...these look good and Toyo makes great tires.

Anecdotical, but we put the Toyo AT3s on my wife’s Bronco Sport 3 years ago and they were pretty much as quiet as the factory tires. Mind you they are SL rated but we’ve been extremely impressed by them. I am considering them as replacements for my Sasquatch GYs this summer.

Territories 53 lbs 😳 crazy

It's either KO3's or Baja boss AT 315's
Ko3 70lbs, Baja 73. Wow. For those that have either, or hell, a much heavier tire period how much will the unsprung weight make a difference? Can't afford lighter wheels so....
