These don’t look like conventional plastic trim fasteners. There doesn’t seem to be a way to remove without scratching up crash plate? Any input welcome.

Yeah I’m pretty sure you just push the center in, then get a trim tool behind the hole head and they should pop outThey look like plastic. They attach the top of the lower skid to the upper skid or frame member behind it I think. Not familiar with this type.
No. If they’re the ones I’m thinking of, once you remove them you can push the center part back out before installing them, then press it flush to lock them.So these are one and done type plastic rivet that need to be replaced with new ones?
I’m planning to remove the upper and lower skid to do some bumper lighting upgrades but to be honest haven’t looked that closely at what these are attached to. I was just doing a little pre planning and thought these would be an issue. What exactly are you trying to do? These skids are on my wife's Raptor and I see no reason the rivet would need to come off.
No need to remove the rivets. 6 bolts to remove the skids. 2 of the bolts are shared between the upper and lower skid.I’m planning to remove the upper and lower skid to do some bumper lighting upgrades but to be honest haven’t looked that closely at what these are attached to.
