The lower gearing only makes a difference If you plan to go to larger diameter tires. The final ratio to the ground is pretty much the same with 33" tires and the slightly taller gears compared to 35" tires with the lower gears.

So @blg did you find a truck?

Remember, the only bad decision you can make is to not buy a Bronco at all! :)
ThunderFlash I am getting close. I walked away from Sound Ford this week they were the worst. I actually got yelled at by the sales manager because i would not buy the BL he wanted me to. I am going to Kirkland Ford, Bellevue Ford and Lynwood Ford this weekend I have 4 I am going to look at we will see if we can meet in the middle when it comes time to pull the trigger. 2 that i like have been on the lot for 370+ days so lets see if they want to get one of them off the lot for 20% off MSRP. They are marked down to 14.5% off as of today but i want to see if i can get another 5% off. Thats some aging inventory in my mind and the 2026's are now on there lot. So hopefully come Sat i will be part of the club :)

Yeah, I'm suspect of Sound. But if they have the truck you want and will give you the deal you demand, I guess the truck itself came from the same place as all the other tens of thousands of Broncos built. Still, I don't like giving my business to some people.

We bought our '24 Wildtrak in July of '25 and managed 18% below MSRP at Korum Ford in Puyallup, but I did not really hammer on price or do the walk away thing. It's so exhausting and I'm getting old. I'd think you could be able to get to your 20% mark with a good bargaining strategy and a bit of stubbornness. At 370 days on the lot, it certainly ain't fresh or drawing in buyers, and you will eat the depreciation of a year old truck immediately. Make it clear that you are not THAT IN LOVE with a particular vehicle and will wait to find another one JUST LIKE IT maybe even better somewhere else. Tell them there is something not PERFECT about it, like the color. Maybe say something like, "Desert Sand is ok and I could live with that color for the right deal, but Marsh Gray is what I REALLY want." ....even if you LOVE the Desert Sand. Maybe they will turn from trying to maximizing profit on a deal to taking what they can get and unloading some old inventory.

Totally agree! Even if it has everything I want/need I always keep my poker face on and let them know its not want i really want :) Like you I am to old for all this and I can walk away. There are plenty of fish in the sea. If its black then I really want the white but darn I love the black! We know more on Saturday so stay tuned!!!! I am really excited to be part of the club.

Coming in well read and researched tends to disarm them, too, particularly schister slime ball salesman types that BS they're way into sales. When you can explain the option packages better than they can, they think, "Oh no, he knows what he's talking about. If I try my trusty BS routine, he may walk." It also communicates you are a serious buyer and not just jerking their chain. I think that helps to get the best deal.

Did you see the loaded '25 Azure Grey BL at Autonation? Pretty nice. Painted top, SBD, Lux, SAS...seems to have everything but the Fox shocks. The Azure Grey is very, very close to the coolest color ever, Area 51. They say they are going to have a Memorial Day sale.

No joke I was shocked at the extremely poor transitional stability at speed I walked away. 275-70/18 Destination XT feel like sport tires in comparison.
Went to 32 psi today on some rocky, washboard, holed forestry roads hit the gas and Hoss2 was pure joy barely felt much of it except some larger holes.

This is the perfect pressure. I expect it to warm up to 34 or 35 on the highway.

I was once in your shoes asking the same question. Ford made it easy for me: said if I kept the hardtop and Sasquatch package, the order would likely be canceled after a 2+ year wait. Covid supply chain issues and what not.

For the money, I feel like I got the best of everything with Badlands non-SAS.

Is this with 315/70/17 and the Eibach Pro lift Springs on stock badlands shocks?

This actually got me. I test drove a shadow black, and was ready to buy. Tried the whole, "But I REALLY like Azure grey" and he was like hold on, we just got one in...

Spent more money than I was planning, but no regrets. I'm glad I got what I did over the black one.

I ordered my 25 with sasquach. Might not need it ever. The warranty was important and did not want to mess with after market including how it might affect warranty repairs.

I hope I'm not spoiling a big reveal, but OP did actually pull the trigger on a Shadow Black four door Badlands.....and he did NOT check the Sasquatch option box. Some may question that choice, others may praise it.....but either way, he got a dang fun and freaking cool truck. I will be forever jealous of his full compliment of dash hero switches.

I think OP got it right. I think most sasquatch buyers think they are getting more than they are over a basic Badlands

Funny I should read this thread as I sit getting my 23 BD serviced. If you can afford it, get whatever you desire. I just asked my service writer if the dealership does recal of speedos cause I’m thinking of bumping my tire size up to the Badlands (265/70/17 to 285/70/17). When I was originally ordering, I wanted the Badlands but was vetoed by the boss due to budget constraints. Was told no the dealer doesn’t and a change in size may void the 100k warranty if I develop drivetrain issues.
1) I call bullshit on that noise…it’s an OEM tire size on a vehicle with the same drivetrain.
2)GET WHAT MAKES YOU FRIGGING HAPPY IN LIFE SO LONG AS YOU’RE NOT HARMING ANYONE ELSE!
