Hey everyone, what are some good antenna choices out there for my 25. Bought “the stubby” from Amazon but it seems to be getting horrible reception thanks
Interesting ....

I hand wash all my vehicles (don't trust automated car washes) but the OEM antenna, although it works fine, is a royal pain to work around when moving wiper to clean the windshield. So, after s month, I replaced it with a $16 stubby on Amazon. Mine works as well as the tall OEM antenna -- no loss of signal strength/quality.

Same thing I did. $16 and works fine.

I don’t think I have ever turned am or fm on (on purpose) but I still have the stock antenna…it is about the least on my problems…🤪🤪😜

I'm with @Iceman62, I listen to FM radio. Now i feel old. At least its not AM . . . . anymore . . . . lol

Its weird to me, no one ever thinks about downgrading their Bronco - but spending $$ to replace this antenna (functionally) does that!

Here is the scoop on your AM/FM Antenna.
Determine what's important to you first - Looks/needs or function.

Looks/needs:
Very personal - Select whatever you like.
Needs: Car washes, offloading, parking garages, clean your windows etc. For Metro areas the stub antenna works just fine provided you don't buy the cheapest oversees thing you can find.
Function:
If you use AM/FM radio and want the ability to pull in weak stations (think rural, towns, traveling) stick with the stock antenna. Its comes off with a twist if your ever in a situation that needs it.

WHY this recommendation
Auto manufactures install AM/FM radios that are poorly designed to begin with and have compromised ability to receive radio signals. Pair that with any stub antenna and both critical parts of the system become extremely compromised - meaning only local/strong stations will be available. At least a properly designed antenna of the proper length/height will help improve this. That is what Ford has done here.

Of course, this is just the opinion of one old man who listens to FM radio on the down-low . . . . so take it for what its worth :)

I’m probably one of the youngest guys here and I still listen to AM
The only radio station that plays good country in Nashville is AM 650

I'd only consider a stub antenna if it was more than just a piece of black painted/anodized aluminum. I want good FM reception. I would consider a stubby antenna if it had a coil inside similar to a "rubber ducky" kind of antenna. No one seems to make one for the Bronco.

I have the Ronin Tufflock 50 cal bullet. Works just fine for the very little I actually listen to AM/FM. Bought if for the look.
Same for me. Looks and works fine.
