Ok, I need to apologize for having thoughts about the people that complained about the 2024 B&O system 10 speaker set up. I thought the complaints were people being picky etc. Well, i got a rental today, a 2024 expedition MAX and it has the B&O system in it. WOW what crap. If its anything like your 2024 B&O's in the broncos your complaints are justified. the 12 speaker variant in my 25 badlands is DRASTICALLY better. So, sincere apologies from me to you 2024 and older B&O recipients.

The pre '25 just needs $3K in sub amp, speakers, sub, sound absorbing and deadening and it's stellar.

I was wondering what the complaints were about. I have a 25 and always thought people were being whiney. Guess I got lucky.

I’ve got the 24 BO and I actually don’t think it’s all that bad. Granted, it depends on quality of music (garbage in / garbage out), but overall have no real complaints. Is it “bitchin”? No. But for the car itself, I think it’s just fine for me!

I have honestly never really understood the need for a 'killer' sound system in a vehicle. A decent one, sure, but one with absolutely crystal clear output, and bass that will rattle the mirrors out of alignment? Other than proving you 'can' what really is the point? The B&O in the wife's expedition is great for a vehicle, though you've got to adjust the sound output properly - the default 'middle' is terrible. The B&O in my truck is likewise great for a truck, same with the sound output.

I don't believe our Bronco has the B&O in it (being a '24 BD SAS), but for a vehicle with extreme wind noise even at 60, it's good enough to have some music. It doesn't need a 'killer' system in it.

Not to drag this out or beat a dead horse, I’ve wondered how verifiable are any ford sound enhancements. There are many threads on sound, and most agree it is highly subjective. And the Bronco with wind noise is not the best scientific sound laboratory. I’ve had a ‘22 B&O and now have a ‘26 B&O, and hard pressed to say there is a difference. Has Ford or anyone publicly stated changes have been made? Maybe I missed that part……

It is a substantially upgraded system...

I agree, unless in a silent car. Its amazing what $3K in speakers, sub amp and sub will do plus a lot of sound absorbing and deadening.
