Not to derail the thread, but it’s not 1830 anymore. It’s ok to not sound so stupid using phraseology that doesn’t depict the intent of description. Then again there’s all kinds of new phrases that are even more stupid. So carry on.

The Midwestern United States is a census region defined by the US Census Bureau. You can write them a stern note and request the official definition be changed.

71k miles and over 20k of them are off the pavement

camped 161 nights with it over the last 3.5 years

4 states so far. But to be fair, if I lived on the eastern side of the country with the same miles it would be 20+. The scale of states is totally different out here.

Always makes me laugh to hear people say Midwest when they’re talking about the mid eastern part of the country. Have any of you seen a map? lol
