Yes I went with the OE gasket, which the part number has been superseded to an A from a B.

When I spoke with Mountune about their "upgraded" 2.3L gasket, their customer service was lackluster and they were rather unhelpful, so I didnt feel confident making that switch.

You didn't happen to do a side by side comparison between what you pulled off vs the new version did you? Just curious. Also forgive me if you already said, were you running a tune and/or mods or just stock?

Just trying to learn from others.

It really didnt look any different. Sometimes Ford revises part numbers for reasons othrr than changes in actual design, so im not sure whether the number changed because the actual design changed.

To be fair I havent seen a 2.3L head gasket with the cross drilled block actually fail since they revised the blocks in ~2020.

We have not had a Bronco head gasket failure at our dealer yet and we are high volume.

My Bronco is stock. No tuning or real performance modifications
