I did a small modification to fix uneven canvas along body line at bottom of side windows. The small plastic piece that accepts the short forward piece of channel on the removable window does not align with longer section. Pics explain better. This is just a quick piece I made as a test. More room for improvement. The wedge shape plastic I made fits between the plastic channel and the mounting surface causing it to angle downward matching piece next to it.

Odd how this reposted separately when I pasted it as a reply to someone asking about side windows in another post.

Maybe admin thought it deserved its own thread 🤷

Hi, I'm looking into this solution, but it wasn't clear to me from the pictures where you install the shim. Can you point it out in one of the pictures you had posted?

Under this piece. The wedge makes it angle downward better aligning with the rear section. This short piece is typically higher than the rear section. Don’t over tighten or wedge it downward too much as it’s thin plastic. But it really helped. Also would not hurt to round over the edge of channel. The removable window gets hung up easy at the transition.

Thanks, are you putting the shim in from the back side of the short piece, from the inside of the cargo area?

The backside 2 bolts. It raises the inside therefore pushing the channel down just a little
