First off I need to thank @SierraBronco for the invention to join in with a group of off road industry Jeeps. Bilstein Shocks, Next Venture Motorsport, Savvy off-road, Rock Krawler Suspensions, Baja Designs Warn Industries and Accuiar Susupension. This was a once in a life time adventure. Great short trail with four obstacles. Most of the video was filmed by my son.
At the morning trail meeting my son and I were introduce to the group of driver. The introduction did not start well, after finding out I was driving a Bronco the first questions were what tierods do I have and did I have a winch. (I'm sure they thought I would need the winch) I run Ford Performance tierods and a Warn which. The group had low expectations of what my Bronco can do. But I showed them what a Bronco could do on 37s could do on the very first obstacle. Then blew there mind with obstacle two. I had to chose my line based on the short two door wheel base on a few of the obstacle's, on two there was no choice just follow the leader.
As far as everyone who truly wheels hard knows all about SierraBronco's build and it ever changing suspension setup. The work performed at home in the garage by the married team. Learning as the two go along. The articulation is truly amazing to see first hand incredible. Wish we had taken more video's.
All the Jeeps were fully built up all on 40s or larger.
The Pickle is a challenging 1-1/4mile, 4x4 OHV trail near Moab, Utah, This short point-to-point trail is a fun technical rock crawling trail that skirts along part of the easier 3D trail. This trail is a series of three obstacles: Dill Pickle, Pickle Slicer, and the Jalapeno Pickle. The first obstacle, the Dill Pickle, can be more challenging for shorter-wheelbase vehicles and may require a winch. Next is the Pickle Slicer a narrow pass where body damage is very likely. The last, the Jalapeno Pickle, is a challenging climb where wheel placement is required. Trail requiring 35-inch tires and lockers. This technical is high-rated (7-8).
