To anybody that is interested in adding fog lights and having them work with the factory fog light switch on a 2025 with the Lux package and the factory modular bumper. I have successfully completed this task. Ford eliminated the fog light harness that was once a part of the bumper harness with front proximity sensors. My Bronco has the elusive C192 connector and I was able to confirm that all of the required wires that are needed to complete this task existed between the C203 and C192 connectors. I purchased a new bumper harness (part # M2DZ-15K867-H) and a new headlight switch with the fog light button (part# M2DZ-11654-DC) and a aftermarket harness that converts the factory fog light plug to a Diode Dynamics. If anyone has any questions let me know and I will try to answer them.

Hey man, thanks for all this info. I think it'll help me along as well. I have a 25 big bend with the standard (plastic) bumper. I have the new headlamp switch with fog button (and a dealer that will turn on its function), bumper covers designed for the OEM fog install on the bumper (like it was on the 21-24s) and I'm hoping that this harness and the other info you gave will work. I don't have front park aid though. I was think I'd just cap those connections but I'm not sure it won't cause an issue. Do the fogs connect in on the headlights or do they need a connection back to the headlamp switch?

Hello,

So if I’m understanding correctly, your Bronco doesn’t have the parking aid sensors. I believe that means you won’t have the C192 connector that is located behind the drivers side headlight. The replacement bumper harness I installed, plugs into the C192 connector. The other side of this C192 connector harness goes to a bigger connector under the fuse panel. You might need to install a different bumper harness. Hopefully someone will chime in with more information to assist you with your installation.

That makes more sense. I believe I have the C192 connector but researching after reading your comment, it appears that the wiring from the C203 terminates before the C192 connector for the 25 big bend, so it's essentially useless for me in this capacity. I might be stuck going to ana aux switch after all

I have done this on my '25 Big Bend. If you're interested, I posted the details here:

Thanks. In the end I went to the upfitters I put in. Not what I wanted, but I'm not confident in the skills that I would need for this without the anxiety that I've messed something up with the car. I do need to go back and change the upfitter switches I got vs the Ford performance ones I installed. I hope this helps out someone too and maybe I'll revisit when I get better at things

Even after reading page after page of how to wire fog lights to the Badlands mod bumper with Lux, I still had questions, so I thought I'd post pics for anyone else trying this. This assumes you have the factory wiring harness/plug buried in your bumper.

Remove the plastic covers over the recover points and you can easily access the factory harness connector. It's held in place by a plastic clip which is kind of a bitch to release, but keep at it from the backside and you can get it to release. I cut off the factory connector and used waterproof soldered butt connectors to splice in a new black and red wire that would reach the new Diode Dynamics fog lights. The yellow with orange stripe is the + for the passenger side and the brown is + for the driver side.

I didn't have the proper Deutsch style wiring connectors to plug my new red and black wires into the existing Deutsch connector, so I just cut the (+ and -) wires coming out of the connector, leaving a pigtail, and used another pair of waterproof soldered butt connectors to tie the wiring together. This also allowed me to leave the existing purple wire untouched, which powers the backlights and merges with all of the other purple wires and leads to a fuse tap I added to the fuse box.

Tonight I'll be in Forscan enabling the settings for the new factory Fog light switch I replaced to actually make them work.

Edit to add the switch I ordered - M2DZ-11654-DA. Took about 10 days for delivery through my local dealership. I don't have an interest in rear fogs, so this one is perfect.

Forscan Update:
I pulled the Forscan settings from this post in the massive fog lights thread. To summarize:
BdyCM Configuration
  • Front fog lamps - change this to "Enabled".
  • Fog Lamp Switch - change this to "Enabled"
  • Using Front Fog With High Beam - "Allowed"
IPC
  • Front fog lamps - change this to "Enabled"
BdyCM (As-Built Configuration)
  • 726-42-01-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx - Change the green value to 0101
Worth noting that my Forscan extended license expired and apparently you can't renew due to the Russian/Ukranian conflict. Forscan wouldn't let me read the modules, however, I saw in another forum that you can change the date of your Windows laptop to a previous date that was within your 2 month license. That worked perfectly and allowed me to make all the changes. Fog light button works great and the icon lights up in the dash display when in use.

Here's the headlights only vs. "Everything on". By the way, I didn't think I'd love the amber backlighting as much as I do. They look awesome.
@Diode Dynamics everything, sourced from Panda Motorworks :
  • SS3 Sport Amber fogs
  • SS2 Pro white combo
  • SS2 Sport white driving

How are you able to switch between different fog light options with OEM switch? Did you also wire to your Aux switch?

The fog light switch referenced controls just the set of fog lights in the bumper. I used Aux 1, 2 and 3 to control the other two sets of lights in the bumper and my ditch lights.

Yes even the base has the connection for rear fog lights it’s under the rear drivers side tail light I tapped in there for my fog lights, as well as my license plate, light going to the tailgate.
What style of connector is it?

It’s not a terminated pigtail. I believe its blue/white and only has the pin on the body side of the harness. You buy the ford pin and insert it into the bumper side of the connector creating a pigtail. I don’t have the pin part number but I’m sure Ducati will have it.

Does anyone have the part bumper for c193? I may have missed it in the many pages of this and the other thread. I e got a 25 base but I got a loaded capable bumper with fogs and the harness with this plug
