Smudges behind the glass in the instrument cluster???

Just got a new Braptor. Love it. It’s way better than my Wildtrak, which itself was great.

But what the heck is this?? Anyone have this? How do I fix, besides having to drive a long distance to the dealer I bought it from and have to leave it there?

To be clear, it’s not on the outside — I’ve tried to clean repeatedly. It’s all inside.

(As an aside: my Braptor also squeaks in reverse…annoying for a nearly $100k car… I may have to bring it to that dealership anyway… anyone have that issue??)

You might be able to find the guy who did it on the line with how clear those prints are

ok so we’ve established there is at least one moron on the assembly line

is there any way to pull that cover out DIY and clean it? Or is this a dealer hassle

OUCH... I hate it for you OP.
I just ordered a 2026 Ranger Raptor... I will be checking the dash when I receive it.

I hope you get this corrected as it needs to be...!!!

Just took delivery of my 2026 Braptor - same issue with smudges or some kind of chemical attack on backside of acrylic on main dash display. My dealership just order a new display module and will replace it.

My question is how that didn't get immediately flagged when they started up the vehicle for the first time after assembly as it seems impossible to miss.

I actually didn’t notice it when I did my initial walk through on the lot during pick up. After driving I noticed some of the text blurry in the lower center area. Then realized it was not on the outside but behind the acrylic. When the truck is off and you look sideways with lighting you can see it “stained” across several areas. Dealer just told me they can order the lens separate and will replace it.
