I say the same thing. I used to see bunches of 2-doors on every lot near me. It only changed when they started removing the 2-door option on some of the trims in 2024.
I was referring to the Stroppe's.
2-Doors sell but not in the same volume, but the Stroppe's just sat & sat. Can't imagine what a 4-door Stroppe disaster will look like.

Because on top of being a largely undesirable 2 door, the Stroppe is hideously ugly and ridiculously overpriced.

Yep. I'm curious as to what happened to the Cliffhanger concept Bronco. Though Ford never did take it on the actual Cliffhanger Trail .
That's ok, @NORCALGXP & I did it for them 🤠

Yeah, the paint scheme isnt for me but it looks much better as a 2 door. I thought it should have had the Raptor engine but im not one of the purists.

Question for the two door purists...suppose Ford announces a 2027 V8 option only available in the moar door configuration. Would you buy one?
No. Because what I paid for my price matched '23 to my '20 reservation, I would just pay Juicy Motorsports to Godzilla swap it and would still end up spending less than what a '27 4DR Coyote would go for. Not to mention it would be the ultimate combo 2DR with 600+ ft lbs of torque.

Purpose built and Badass.

not needed. The 2.7 dispenses with raptors handily.

No.

Two reasons- one, I dont want four doors and two, it wont have a three-pedal manual transmission.

To borrow from Mark Cuban...for those reasons, I'm out.

I dont believe it is presently available with a manual...now an older Defender, especially with twin-stick and manual hubs so the creative can go 2-lo...that would get my attention.

Yeah I agree.

Obviously Ford did the market research on the Jeep Wrangler, and if you look over there... 4-Door outsells 2-door by approx 8-to-1. So I'm sure they expected very similar numbers on the Bronco.

But if the Bronco came out and 2-Door sales was... say... ≈40% of the market, then I think the trim lineups would look very different than they do today. I don't think they're trying to kill the 2-door, I just think they're in the business of building vehicles that sell.
But, overlooked by most, is what percentage of car buyers are willing to wait months on end for a vehicle to be built to spec? It's small. Most people buy off the lot, which means they are saddled with how the dealer stock came in.

It's the same self-fulfilling circle that allows manufacturers to claim no interest exists for a manual. But let one come off the truck and see what gets the attention...even the service guys at my local dealer tried telling sales they needed to order more like mine.

@mdainsd Without work? No freakin way
Way. Try it. Torque to weight ratio favors the 2 door 2.7. Hard to argue with physics. Dont take my word for it, try it for yourself.
