The more I look at that the more I like it.
I thought I’d post my White Madness Garage knob. I too was burned by AR and it’s good to get a new knob finally.
I did apply some grease to the flange that holds the spring. I thought the new reverse lockout was a bit sticky.
That just look flat clean.That's how twisted shifterz does it, loctite, and at first I was like WTF. It's on there and doesn’t seem to want to rotate...
Please share your thoughts on the B&M shifter; Love the MT and not interested in “banging gears”, as it’s a four-wheeler after all, but Witt’s like to improve feel and shorten the throw.
I have some waterproof marine grade grease. It’s all I had on hand. The reverse lockout slides better but it is still not as smooth as the OEM. I tried to use as little as possible. I will give it a few days and may grease again.
What i like best is that with the black reverse lockout the shaft and boot fade into the background and the beautiful orange knob looks like it is floating in mid-air. Love it.
Is this their lightening blue or deep impact?I found these guys White Madness Garage via a search a few weeks ago and deiced to give them a whirl. They have two designs, this one is 'The Bullet".
It's slightly taller and thinner than the factory knob. It weighs in at 6.5oz with the adapter vs 2.7oz for the factory knob with cap.
The color turned out to be a couple shades darker than Velocity Blue. It's noticeable when I put it up against the paint, but not so when mounted to the shifter. (I didn't take any pictures because it's pissing rain out here.)
The lettering doesn't align quite right and I'm not sure if it bothers me yet or not. I can likely fix it with a washer.
The feel is very nice. I like the added weight. The shape fits my hand well.

Well, enough people on this forum have spent good money on the retro Bronco script to fund the TSA a few retro blue knobs ain’t going hurt.
… just some tuff love, he is having trouble saving for his retirement.
