I found these guys White Madness Garage via a search a few weeks ago and deiced to give them a whirl. They have two designs, this one is 'The Bullet".

It's slightly taller and thinner than the factory knob. It weighs in at 6.5oz with the adapter vs 2.7oz for the factory knob with cap.

The color turned out to be a couple shades darker than Velocity Blue. It's noticeable when I put it up against the paint, but not so when mounted to the shifter. (I didn't take any pictures because it's pissing rain out here.)

The lettering doesn't align quite right and I'm not sure if it bothers me yet or not. I can likely fix it with a washer.

The feel is very nice. I like the added weight. The shape fits my hand well.

Looks good! I just installed a Twisted Shifters knob or I would order one of these.

If you're happy with it then just use a bit of loctite to line it up where you want.

Looks like Lightning Blue.

I wonder if Triple Yellow or Competition Orange is closer to Active Orange? Doesn't matter to me I suppose because I have a B&M shifter to install.

Approximately how deep does the lockout lever seat/nest up in the knob when in any gear other than R & C? (Is it same as OEM)?
I have a couple paint chips on the edge of my painted lockout lever curious if knob will cover them.
Thanks

This looks great! I've been waiting to order from them because I sent them an email a few days ago and have yet to receive a response.

My question was if it would be possible to get a matte black finish with silver/brushed aluminum finish for the shift pattern engraving (boring I know), but haven't heard back yet.

Edit: Heard back today and ordered!

Hello Sir,
Thank you for your pictures. I would like to ask you about the shift pattern alignment.
First - I use the existing BRONCO shifter assembly to align the engraving and I have no idea what is different with your shaft. Can you please let me know if the chamfer part was on a side of the steel rod? Maybe you can shot the picture to my email - [email protected] so I can see what is wrong.
Second - you can use some blue loctite, apply it to the thread of the bracket and shift knob itself and let it sit for 24 hours so it will hold in place.

Let me know. Thank you!

I love the knob, but the alignment is a non-starter for me. I wouldn't be able to abide that. I have to imagine they would get that worked out.

They were slow to respond to my initial inquiry as well, but once they did, questions got sorted out within a few minutes of back and forth.

Thank you for the picture. That's very weird why it doesn't align with the pattern.
Can you try to make sure the adapter sits straight and locked. The small play while you threading the shift knob might give this angle off.
I will check what to adjust to make sure it's not gonna happen again.

Having done plenty of threading on a lathe myself, it seems the lathe chuck was ~5 degrees off at the start of the thread for the adapter. It wouldn't matter for a knob without the shift pattern.

Any chance of getting a replacement adapter sent?

Yup, they responded to me earlier today and got everything sorted out super fast. I'm very excited to see the final product once it gets here.
