Diode Dynamics Fog Pocket Lights issues

I was offroading this past weekend and had the front bumper submerged for maybe 30 seconds. The back lights work for all six pods, but the yellow driving lights or the off-road pod lights won't come on now. I have the yellow driving light pod on UpLifter 5 and the off-road lights on 4. Have not checked the fuses yet, but I hope that would not be the issue. Anyone else have this issue?

Have you disconnected the connections to check for water intrusion? Do you have the white plug in the 4th unused hole in the deutsch connector?

Well.. troubleshooting a light bulb is about as basic as electrical troubleshooting can get.

If you haven't got a multimeter - that would be my recommendation. Start checking voltages at various spots until you find where it's breaking. And if you get all the way to the light and it's still not working... then the issue is the light.

I had a similar problem with the driving lights of my Diode Dynamics SS2 off-road lights after 3 years. When activated by the upfitter switches, they worked fine. But in DRL mode, they would faintly flicker and change color. I was surprised how much dirt had gotten inside the connector plugs from being submerged for short periods of time. I ended up replacing the off-road/fog splitter harness on each side, and it fixed the problem (this was a warranty item and Diode Dynamics was very cooperative about it). The older gaskets on the original plugs seemed to have deformed most likely from age.
