So this will be a quick SIGHT review of the new @AIGMUX Grab Handles V2 with LED light. I say quick review because these handles will not work with my setup. I have all may know, an Armadillo Slant Back top. The place where these handles bolt in, *On the top rail* is covered completely by my top. It sits on that rail. So, I cannot install these.

What I can do is go over what was sent to me.

The product came well packed, and had colour instructions and an apology letter. (??) You say? Yes, it was a letter explaining the your of the company and that some ideals and products do not quite live up to how they were designed on paper. They will learn from these mistakes and strive to do better and make great products for the Bronco community.

Now, the new handles are BEEFY. I have never seen the V1 of these handles, but I did hear how they could snap. These are not snapping. They are very thick steel, and the attachment section is solid. The mount bolts look to be thicker, and there is a 3rd mount point that goes where the more traditionally made handles connect. I would think these would hold up to getting in and out, and holding on on a trail. They came with front and back, and are clearly marked. FR, FL, RR, RL. Like other AIGMUX products, the LED light has a blue strip to it when the lights inside are shut off. I have the rear reading light, and it also does this. Nice touch. It seems that the LED would be bright but not harsh. I would think it would be the same hue as the rear reading light. I cannot test that theory, though, because I cannot install the handle/light itself.

So my thoughts? I think, by site, these V2 handles are pretty nice. I believe that I have corrected the mistakes from V1. Again, I cannot fully test this, but from feel and looks, I think these may be worth the squeeze. Just my 2 cents, and I felt maybe someone would like to know. I am sure someone else has taken advantage of their % off to try this new version, so there will probably be others. Feel free to toss it up in this thread.

Keep the wheels down and keep modding! PICs below.

I received mine and I 100% agree, these are really beefy and heavy duty. That being said I haven't installed mine yet to give full review.

Installed mine today. Like them so far, if anything they are too bright. It would be nice to be able to dim them as needed.

Only issue I ran into was a bungee for my bimini top hooked into the hole now filled with the front handle. So ill need to adress that another day when it's not raining.

these look the same to me - would like to understand what changes were made. The steel brackets look the same, the problem is where the plastic handle meets the steel bracket. That is where the handle would snap. I'm hoping there is something more I just can't see from the pics....time will tell

From what I could tell, the handle now is attached differently. It is a LOT stronger. I never had the original ones, but it seems this version that issue was corrected.

based on your pictures, i assume the handle itself is metal with a plastic/rubber cover.
previously the handle was all plastic. i am one of the people that had the handle snap on me.
unfortunately i can't install them either now lol, limited by the armadillo top.

I see. I believe you are correct. It seems that the handle is a steel rod wrapped now.

I considered those at one point but did not like how close they are to the roof. I wanted something easier to grab.

I went with these instead,

For an interior light I bought this and REALLY like it,

Interesting. I found this timely since I just realized that my hands don’t fit enough to grab the Mabett handles now that I installed a Hotheads Headliner…wondering if those are angled down more. Looks like the handle portion is recessed a bit lower than the rest of the handle too…

As for the light - how’s the wiring? Seems like a nice option. Getting tired of having to charge my under cabinet LEDs I use back there.
