What I hate about my Bronco, you? (edit) Or maybe I should have called it "What would you want if you were designing it"

I’m generally connected by USB cable. Gotta keep the phone charged! What I mean by glitch is CarPlay will completely crash/disconnect. Sometimes it auto re-connects. Sometimes not and I gotta actually stop the car, open the door, and then re-start the car. Generally when this happens it will keep crashing/restarting every few minutes until I stop/start the car.

It’s not a daily thing. Generally only long roadtrips. Never happens offroad because there’s a lot of stop/starting.
Interesting. Has not happened at all for me, but I’m only a few thousand miles in on a MY25.

I hate how much they cost new considering how cheap the interior is.

I hate that the rear seats aren’t easier to remove.

I hate that they have a swing away rear door instead of a truck-style tailgate.

I hate that I really like it even with all of its problems:
  • B&o is awful
  • Window rattle
  • Rear windows leak
  • Extremely loud wind noise
  • Doors open poorly
  • “Full” skid plates don’t cover the plastic trans cooler or t-case
  • Auto mode hvac can’t keep up in hot weather.

Dood… Im in Tennessee, with 98 degrees and 86% humidity. Feels like was 114. I never set my auto hvac below 71, and it kept up fine. Mayhaps you got the Ca anti pollution hvac on your unit?
Do the window rattle SSM. IT helps a LOT. Wind noise a given for a convertible brick on 35’s quieter than mu wife’s Jk tho.
Take your doors off. You’re in SOCAL.
Are you still undecided?

Hey I get it, whenever anyone sees Put a V8 in it, they all think the Coyote (meant for a Mustang). Nope, just a normal old naturally aspirated V8, dump the turbo that's all I want. Of course if Ford did that they'd put a $100k price tag on it.

Anyways, this thread is about what someone hates about the Bronco, that's mine. Hate turbo engines. 🤷‍♂️
I 95% agree. I’d take a Coyote but like you I’d prefer an old school Hemi style V8 from Ford. It’s legitimately the only thing I’d sell my truck for atm. As mentioned in my previous post, if I’m running 10mpg city just bc I added 180lbs in weight, then give me power. Wtf is the use of a “fuel saving” V6 turbo if the equivalent of an adult male is killing mpg down to 10mpg city? If that’s the case, at least give me the power as an offset.

It was 107 last week. I had to turn the blower speed up. It’s it a big deal but my 1991 Mitsubishi had better auto fan speed control.

Just curious: 2nd comment ive seen about this. Why do you need to disable the infotainment?
Because the last thing most folks want while driving at night on an unlit country road is a giant display lighting up the cockpit.

Edit: it's just fine in town

The Coyote is a normal naturally aspirated engine. It also will bolt straight up to the MT since the Bronco uses a slightly modified version of the Mustang 6-speed.

Ford isn't going to bring back the 5.4 Triton, no mater how much people loved it.

Eh, screw the Triton, bring back an updated 351 (pick which version you want). Or just drop in Godzilla like these outside guys are doing.

Day 5 of ownership.

Hate the RPM “gauge”.
Hate the shifts if you stand on it.

The thing I absolutly despise and am in the process of fixing is ..... For the love of everything why would you force an Orange trim on a green vehicle 🤮. At least I have found green vent clips, green bungee, and green vynal coverups for the handles. But the orange stiching everywhere is gonna be a royal pain to change.

The doors and tailgate lock while driving, which is fine. Then when the vehicle is parked, they unlock, also good. But if the doors are removed, the tailgate doesn’t automatically unlock when parked. So then when you go out later to put something in the back, it involves futilely pulling the handle then returning to the house to get the keys to unlock.

... time for a trade-up. My 2025 4 door sounds teriffic, esp with the
sound deadening head liner...
Is it the newer hard top with the white plastic interior and smaller sound deadening panels? I’m curious to hear how quiet it is.
