So I am reaching out to the group to help me troubleshoot.

I installed a 3” 4WP lift, RPG upper control arms and rear adjustable track bar.
For wheels i have 37x12.5 BFG KO2s wrapped around method 8.5x17 with zero offset.

Ride is great on road, haven’t been off-road yet.

So here is the issue: i hear and feel a clicking noise on driver side only when i turn 1 1/2 turns of steering wheel while driving over 7 MPH. I checked and no rub and the driver’s side only makes me think it is mechanical. Also the traction control light comes on sometimes.

i asked dealer to look when i got the oil changed and they blamed it on the 37”s throwing off the computer. Interesting enough they did not offer to recalibrate the wheels.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

oh yeah I added some pics.

Is the 4wp coilovers or spacers? Doesn’t really matter just curious. Did you have the half shafts out? They may not have gotten seated correctly. Does this happen in 2wd or 4wd or both? My clicking in 4 wd ended up being cv joints were toast.

Check your front crash bar stub mounts for signs of rubbing, 4WP said at introduction they would need trimming.

May be the crash bars rubbing but you would feel that in the steering wheel if you haven’t already removed them. Did you get a alignment after the install? I had the eibach coil overs, UCA and rear lower links installed by a shop and a alignment done after, so I don’t have first hand knowledge of what might be your issue. Also 37s not on a Raptor pose their own set of issues

Unfortunately Ford dealerships don’t have access to change tires size calibration, unless a tech there has forscan. It may be possible the larger tire size is potentially causing an issue with the traction control system, but I would be double checking clearances and other things near the suspension first.

Coilovers - i did not take out the half shafts. Clicking is in 2WD not in 4WD The CW is a concern if mine.

The rear crash bar stubs are clear I’ll double check the front .

Also it doesn’t make sense for turning but I’ve seen people say their lower shock bolts loosened up on them.

Sounds like the CV axle nut may be loose. I haven’t had one of these apart, but I have on other vehicles. 🤷‍♂️

Did you try it in 4wd as well as 2wd? Is it a rhythmic ticking, or random? Does it do it on the left side turning both directions or just one direction?

Initially I would suspect it's a CV clicking in the axle shaft. Typical click click click when turning.

The above comment may be correct about the CV nut being lose. You needed to loosen the nut to add the 4wp coil overs. If during the installation the nut was not loosen a few turns it could of damaged the CV when pressure was put on the knuckle to get the coil overs to fit.

The factory tool has access to everything. Not that they would be willing to do it necessarily. What evidence do you have of what you said? Curious.

No, it doesn’t. Ford took away almost all programmable parameters a while ago. I’ve been a Ford tech for the last 15 years

Also a Ford tech for the past 1.5 years, can confirm Ford doesn’t allow any form of tire size recalibration

Sell a model, called the Bronco, with the words "LIFT ME" molded into the trim, and they don't allow tire size calibration...

The epitome of stupid!
