Hey all. Gonna try to keep it short and sweet.

Was looking to find the front and rear pair splash guards. Obviously, those prices can go fuck a hat.

So I decided to put the part numbers into Google and got a ton of results for as high as 23% off.

You're all avid discount shoppers and I'm wary of most things. Who do you trust, what's "too good to be true," and where do you all go?

Examples:
Are these dealer sites/discounts? If so, why is the Ruxer discount not this much?
I've used CJ Pony in the past for my Mustang and personally have not been disappointed and have seen that they offer OEM Ford parts for the Bronco as well. Only disadvantage is that you can't use your Fordpass points.

I’ve ordered from Levittown, Ruxer, and Oemfordparts. I will say, the shipping charges vary greatly so the cheapest place might not have the cheapest overall cost.

Ive tried to use my Fordpass points to order a cargo liner. I think i've looked into it three times, but gave up each time after a few minutes. Fordpass prompts you to a dealer website when you go to purchase accessories, and then when i choose a specific dealer, they dont show the accessory on their list.
They make it so difficult to use the Ford Pass points… my dealer wont even let me order over the phone for a pickup order… i have to go down to the dealership. Bs.

Im gonna bite the bullet and order the gator flaps… ill spin my wheels looking for something else thatll prob look like sht. They got us by the balls. Do you think the rear flaps are necessary though??
If you literally don't care at all about anyone behind you, no. :)

I put mine on and drove through puddles and the amount of crap (leaves and stuff) that were caked on the rear flaps was astonishing. My Jeep never kicked up that much. I think. 😬

The way I see it: the front flaps protect the Bronco, the rears protect small children and low flying airplanes behind you.

@Tunagates

Yes, determined it takes two trips, since you need to order in person, then go back when they take delivery. I said screw it and came out of pocket. Found it discounted online, then used the savings towards expedited shipping (otherwise it would have been three weeks). While i didnt use my ford pass, the cargo liner was only $140 bucks with tax and shipping, so...whatever. I'll save the ford pass for something of higher value...or servicing...not worth the inconvenience on the small stuff.

I bought my Bronco there - straight shooters. No ADM. I haven’t used their web ordering but ordered the rear Molle Tailgate & Tonneau covers and they were available for pick up the next day. Used FordPass points and Nick in parts was great! A good ole hometown dealership that cares about the customer.

I think I saw a video for the installation a while ago - it looked way more complicated than I was expecting. Let me know how it goes. Ordering mine now.

Goddamn Daylight Savings Time. Did the assembly of the flaps and by the time I was done to attach them to my Bronco, it was pitch black outside.

Here's the video:
Welp, I've got the steel bumper and ordered them.

Install video here:

Shows install for both steel and plastic.

I also started a thread for discounts if you decide to pull the trigger: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/trustworthy-ford-accessory-websites.27909/
I checked the crash bar for the front flaps... I have one factory bolt still attached (video said I'd either have none or two).

Anyone else have that?

Got em today - gonna install tomorrow- did you have to remove the tire or does that just make it a lot easier?

Didn't remove my tires, but would have made installing the rears a lot easier. Very little room to drill the bumper, unless you have a right-angle drill.

Fronts, I just turned the steering wheel to give me room.

Also, I'm super lazy. So.
