I saw my first Bronco on the road this weekend. Cyber orange 4 door badlands. It was in the middle of no where in Wyoming. It was like seeing a unicorn.

So I guess there is still a glimmer of hope!

I feel ya! 251k and counting fast on my vw. The steering rattles and shakes are getting too much for me so I’ll be spending the weekend replacing control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rods, and replacing the valve cover and gasket (slow oil leak) to give some insurance that it’ll make it till I get my bronco. However, it’s pretty amazing it’s made it this far without touching any suspension components.
Mine just had new control arms and struts up front, replaced the engine mounts and replaced a cracked fuel pump within the last year. Fingers ate crossed no more major repairs. Come on Ford!!! 🤞🏼

Yeah that is my same thought-if it slips into March for delivery, I'd rather have that.

I thought so as well. I feel sorry for all those that reserved back in 2020. They were subjected to an enormous amount of problems that have been well covered on this site. I also believe that Ford is making progress and will pick up the pace in the coming months.
They haven’t even cleared through scheduling the first 24 hours of reservations, even at dealers that have the allocations, and probably won’t on Thursday.

We’ll see what happens, I’m an optimist 😂.

Is the 70k number legit? I’m sure there are plenty of early reservations that got tired of waiting and didn’t convert to ‘22. Anecdotally seems production numbers are improving significantly based on dealer stock and people on here getting scheduled.
Yeah almost everyone who has “cancelled” their order, all pissed at Ford, and moved on either left their order in the system or their dealer did. So even if there is no customer at the end, the order is in the system to be selected, built and shipped to the eagerly awaiting dealer.

Yep I'm one of those I'm in the first 16 hours of reservations sticking to what I want in a $50K rig... hopefully this Thursday or in the next 2 to 3 cycles of production scheduling.

It might be getting better but there are about 70k people in front of him that ordered MIC tops. I would be surprised to see all reservations placed within the first 2 months actually get built in 2022. We didn't even get though the first few hours of 7/13 with 5 months of production for 2021 model year.

None of this takes into account that MIC 2.0 tops are also failing now with same issues and I predict MIC 3.0 before summer.
But again there will be a lot determined by number of orders/reservations at any one specific dealer v.s. their allocation. I have said it several times so people are probably tired of hearing it, but there are only 2 builds in front of mine now (both MIC) and my dealer has already had 8 pulled since 2022 scheduling started just a few weeks ago. BTW I am a 7/18/20 reservation so by a lot of peoples standards I am a "late" reservation, but I will most likely be scheduled by the end of December. So all I am saying (and you already know this) is that day one or day two doesn't mean that "70k" are in front of people. Me being a day five reservation, I still probably have '70k in front of" me since 60% of reservations came in the first two or three days, but I will still probably have mine by first quarter 22.

yes, but there is a difference between reserving 4 days after reveal and 6 months after. I don't care what's said about allocations. A guy with a MIC order that's reserved in March 2021 isn't getting their Bronco before a guy that reserved in July the year before.

I’m still cranking up the heat and dropping the top on day 1 if it comes mid-winter.
