Brutal.I felt rain on my head. Heavy rain.
Just picked up bronco today.
has MIC 2.0-it was wet right at the crack between 2 pieces in front roof. I have not taken it apart. Likely it’s the seal.

I taped up the center and cross seams with 3m auto wrap. 1.5 inch strips has worked the best. I tried a 4 inch wide but it goes over the roof ripples and that cause it to lift and let water get back in. We has 3 inches of rain here in the Portland area the last two days and my truck is completely dry on the inside. It worked great. I do not think that Fords gutter design will hole up and just plan on having my roof taped up for the 8 months of rain and have the summer to take it off and enjoy. I have a two door hard top.I felt rain on my head. Heavy rain.

I got updates. Was told that my warranty claim on the top is approved. Now waiting on a new top…that will prob have the same problem**UPDATE** Went to dealership. Their service head and body guy looked at it. They both concluded that this shouldn’t be this way. Ball is now rolling for resolution. Also, the body guy pointed out a couple more issues I hadn’t noticed.
I have not checked back in on mine. I am really starting to think my dual top solution made possible by best top is the best way to go for right now. The top is really one big accessory for me. I explained it to my other half by comparing it to her many different purse's that I have bought her over the years, she could understand.I got updates. And then what?Wow. This is supposed to be the mic 2.0? I’ll definitely be giving mine the white glove inspection![]()
Mine had that. Some sort of oil or slick fluid. I assumed it was from the gaskets or seals. It wasn't much though and didn't drip. Just wiped it away.Has anyone seen this? It's not water to my knowledge because it looks and feels slick. We also haven't had any rain lately in my area.
I haven't removed the roof just yet to further inspect, only noticed this when rearranging the rear seats.

I have a feeling Ford is DEEP into the R&D of the mod top already. We'll see them well before 2023 I'm guessing.MIC is going to die come 2023 when the MOD top is ready. No way Ford continues with this catastrophe.
MdeamonI dont rwaly care about the top
Send my two door without a top
I will still very happy....
I live in florida top is optional ....lol
When they have top available send it . .
At lease i will enjoy my two door
I tought they say all the dashboard electronic are water resistant .... but probably not waterproof...Mdeamon
Make sure you keep it in the garage and only take it out when rain is not in the forecast. Given all the carpeted seat backs/bottoms and electrical switches, I've been told many times by this board that the washout MGV interior is not meant to get wet. That will be tough to do on a nice summer day at the beach with the HT at home and along comes one of our typical out-of-the-blue-sky thunderstorms.
