I'll try and keep this quick.
Basically I need assurance from the more knowledgeable folks here.
I'm a newbie to the Bronco universe, namely the new Broncos and this entire reservation/order process. I also have an obsessive personality, so now that I'm into this, I'm absorbing as much info as possible. But in regards to my order, I feel terribly uninformed and it is killing me.
There's the scenario:
10-12-21 My wife and I walk into the dealership, no reservation. We test drive a Bronco and naturally want one. We sit at the salesman's desk and go through the b&p 2021 and he prints out the summary and tells us the 2022 orders begin the next day, so they'll submit then so we get a 2022. We leave happy.
Since then, that salesman has quit. I immediately call the dealership to make sure everything is still good with our order. I am assured all is well.
I speak with the new salesperson and inquire about why we've not received an email confirmation from the dealership or Ford.com (the emails I see lots of people posting here). I'm told not to worry, the Bronco has been ordered.
Salesperson texts me a picture of the Preview Build sheet. So far this is the only documentation I've seen regarding our order.
Should we be concerned that the order hasn't truly been submitted? How have we not received the email that everyone else seems to get within a few hours or a day or two later?
