I assume Misc is labor??? List is $588.98 so I guess they use a part price accelerator, tax is tax, but not sure if this is installed or jut parts. Glass is direct ship from Carlite, better tell them to order 4 so you can get the best chance of FedEx destroying the first 3 and one making it.

Warranty time to replace is 2 hours so that means realistically, 3. A lot of places sub the install which probably aren't at $100+/hr.

update: just got a quote from my Ford dealer for ~$900 and three to five day delivery.

I have never had insurance cover a windshield issue as it was normally below my deductible.

I've had several Lincoln (with lane keeping assist) windshields replaced. None required recalibration although I was told that it MAY require it.

All the windshield part numbers are the same for the full size bronco. Part number M2DZ7803100A. $589 retail. NAGS number is DW02762 GTYCAR. We have an excellent glass guy do all of our dealer work. He works for Belle Tire (yes they do glass). Belle charges $100 labor to install plus glass. As a dealership, if we buy the same oem carlex glass as Belle Tire, they can usually install it for less than retail. They get glass direct from Carlex cheaper than we can as a dealership.

And if it's install properly, you don't really need to calibrate anything.

Back in tha day ... State Farm had a zero deductible "glass" rider that was literally $2 a month. My Dad always got it due to his commute taking out a windshield every year or two.

They do something differently now, I remeber the agent talking about it last time we spoke.
I need to ask him about :

• Glass
• Replacement coverage in the event of a total/theft and how ADM's work into that. (Gap?)
