Tracking for remaining MY21 builds

If you got your production scheduling email between 9/27 and 10/4, this is for you.

I setup a tracking form at this location:

It is intended to enable us to track how well Ford delivers on its most-recent build scheduling, through the remaining build weeks for the MY21s.

I can create a spreadsheet from it so that we can get a better assessment of how well Ford is doing delivering on these final MY21 builds.

UPDATE: Q&A

1. I have setup the form so that you should be able to edit your submission over time. That way, as you get more info (i.e. a ship date) or dates change, you can update them.
2. I anticipate posting a link to the resulting (updated) spreadsheet once a week, and possibly more frequently if things start happening fast. I'll keep an eye on this thread for requests.

I didn't really specify. Let's put your dealer state, in case that impacts shipping and Ford's selection process. Change at your leisure, no rush.

So far, I'm not seeing anything to indicate scheduling favoring soft tops or 4 doors. All types seem to be somewhat spread out over the available weeks. If anything, I'm seeing a lot of builds stacking up towards the end of November with 11 of 48 scheduled for the single week of 11/29.

Geographically, it looks like there is a general spread across states, with slight clusters in TX (6), FL (4), and possibly MD (3) and Washington (3). Every other location is 1 or 2 only.

Only 6 of 26 BLs are leather; the rest are MGV. All BDs are MGV.

If you are curious about any particular mix, let me know.

Just from a been there - done that standpoint, a few things that I feel should be added to benefit the end users.

• If you hadn't already, check out the Dirt Mountain Tracker for an all around idea of what works and what didn't
• A tutorial either in the OP (or better yet in the actual Form) of how to find the Window Sticker and all relevant data on it (ie. Blend Date and Rotation #).
• Included Rotation # as a form entry point as this will be your easy way to sort each Bronco that happen to have the same Blend (Production) date.
• Insert the Sheet into the OP to allow for 24/7 viewing access to prevent users from losing interest (it is their data afterall, they shouldn't have to wait for a weekly update )
• Create a wicked awesome Data Dashboard like the one @jbrentd made for DM to allow for an even better days visualization
• Try to automate as much as possible As much as I've loved managing the DM tracker, and as automated as it is, it is still a 4-8hr a week commitment depending on the activity (obviously the engagement is quite high right now).
• And lastly, find a way to make this Tracker unique from what @Administrator has already set up for B6G (https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...from-3-500-orders-in-our-tracking-list.22968/).
  • Easiest way to do that is to turn this into a lively thread where people will check in daily to chat with others in the same shoes as themselves. Nothing like a thread quicker than 5,000 "Entered" posts in a row.

Anywho, just thought I'd stop by and say good for you for staying and taking on a challenge like this. It'll hopefully be greatly utilized.
