If Ford mis-stated the oil capacity for one of their most common engines, that manual is basically useless garbage anyway.Fortunately the manual is digital so they can just update it over-the-air.

Still could be wrong in the service manual and owners manual. Let me see if I can get some clarification from my Ford contacts.I let oil drain for 30 minutes, after engine cooled and sat for 15 prior to that with oil filter out and it still only drained 6 quarts no idea where the other quart is hiding
Sometimes on the way to Florida and any long trips I'm at speeds 75-95+, and just driving to work on the highway eco mode and 60-65.Yup 19-23 sounds great! Is that mostly city, highway, trails, or a mix? Do you consider yourself a fast driver or a more cautious one?
Have you noticed a difference in MPG in different modes at highway speeds? I was feeling that the difference is from 0-60. Once you hit 65+ the meter doesn’t seem to be effected in Normal/Eco/Sport.Sometimes on the way to Florida and any long trips I'm at speeds 75-95+, and just driving to work on the highway eco mode and 60-65.

I just dug through the entire F150 FORScan Spreadsheet and found nothing on 12v settings. I guess we have to wait until the Bronco lists get produced...I have my ODB reader coming on Friday. Double-honk is the first thing to go.Forscan can change the setting I did it on my 2020 Raptor.

does anyone have a running total???It would not be the first Ford error on this launch.
Mmm...asking car manufacturer's engineers if there is a break in period, sounds fine, but wouldn't their statement ultimately be in their best interest...selling new cars? lolConsumer reports (not biased) interviewed engineers from multiple major manufactures and the short answer is modern engines and transmissions do not need break in periods. They are manufactured better than on the past ads designed for showtime from day 1. The fact that this is required for the Bronco is likely coming from the legal team as the break in recommendation was wildly broad, as will the Master Techs answer will be. New model, you never know what could go wrong and it’s better for it to go wrong at a slower speed and while not towing a 5th wheel than at slower speeds. Ford learns a things from the Explorer tread separate days
