Auto Start-Stop Eliminator for Bronco is now available

I understand that Forscan can address this, but I personally don't want to learn how Forscan works. I just want to plug it in and forget about it. To each there own.

If you accidently mess something up, it's not always easy to recover. When I had my Raptor, I wanted my dealer to forscan the mirrors to autofold. They said they couldn't take the liability for it if something happened, Ford wouldn't back them.

This device will not completely disable start/stop it will just disable the automatically enabled by default when ever the vehicle is started.
If you want start/stop active turn it on with the factory switch and it will stay on...if you want it off, turn it off and it will stay off even after a restart.
It also will not require the OBD port to work, it plugs in between the wire harness leading to the switch and auto-stop switch itself.
There is some disassembly of interior panels to access the install location but as was mentioned in an earlier post a simple to follow instruction video will be available soon.

That's the real benefit. If you don't like auto start/stop, you can set it to off and forget it. If you want it to function as intended, you can do that as well.

I have heard an LED night light plugged into the inverter outlet will also disable the auto-s/s. For a couple of bucks at the dollar store this seems like a pretty practical hack…

This does not work. Tried it on mine and the engine still shuts off at stop lights.

Thanks for sharing. Auto stop and start doesn't bother me enough to pay $100 to make it remember my last setting. For those that hate the current set up, this is a great fix. I'm also never a fan of taking apart the plastic parts of my dash... for obvious reasons. Would be nice if this was installed without risking breaking some plastic snap or something. Glad to see more aftermarket items for our trucks...now just need the truck

Agreed! This is clearly not for everyone but this will be my first mod when I get my VIN hopefully next year.

What kind of pressure are you talking about? like turning the wheel to one direction to put tension on the steering rack?



Do you know why this light being plugged in has anything to do with the way S&S works? Another thought: I'd be afraid it would kill my battery or something if the LED light stays on when i leave the car.

There are many ways to work around it. Lifting your foot slightly on the brake will keep the engine running. The A/C set to high will also. Mitchell Watts did a video o few years ago that plugging an adaptor into the hitch plug will override it. What he didn't realize is that also causes BLIS to not function correctly and puts the vehicle in tow mode and wasting fuel.

im in just because autostop is the most annoying thing invented. this thread went off the deep end for a memory setting...

• do you want something that remembers what you pushed and reapply every time?
• can be removed easily, requires no modifications, and you can remove before service if you prefer.
• deployed to a ton of other vehicles without issue.
• is overpriced for what it is but to some is valuable.
• May save wear and tear on the second starter, battery, etc.

Its because people seem to enjoy telling others, what they should or shouldn't care about (or where they should or shouldn't spend their money)

So true! I posted this last night as information only for those who WANT this modification. I am not affiliated with this company and I was only watching the company's public web site hoping a version for the Bronco would come out......and they did!

If you don't want it for your Bronco - then don't get it. Simple as that.

Why spend the money for this when all you need to do is hit the button on the dash? Is hitting a button that much of a pain for everyone?

Hitting the button is easy, remembering to hit the button every time I get in is the hard part. I cannot stand auto stop start. This would be worth a hun.
