If you did it correctly with your dealer, you have a signed "deal sheet" from your order, showing Model, options, etc. Now if you cancel your order and they want the stock they could change it at that point, but if you don't you have them locked to that specific build and price in writing.Your order is with the dealer. The vehicle order is between the dealer and Ford. If you don't understand the difference you will need to.
The dealer can technically do anything they want with the order. They can cancel it, they can change it and they can sell it to someone else. Now there are guardrails around some of those activities but there is nothing to prevent them from doing anything they want with the order.
