code 99 never felt good until today!
Ditto. Best decision I made a few months ago as I watched this shitshow unfold.

Im glad they are sending me a new MIC top. The more and more I look over my wifes I see things on the current MIC top that I am not a fan of. We havent even take it apart yet.

Thus has probably been said but without reading all 14 pages. For those in purgatory, will they be releasing these Broncos soon and replace tops later?

I don’t understand how they didn’t know the tops were crap to begin with.
I think they knew and said fuck it, ship em. Mine and someone else at my dealer both got them within a couple weeks of each other and "bad roof camp" was written on the window. I think they were keeping track and will deal with us later. We both have minor issues with them cosmetically so far. If they shipped them with bad tops, and wrote bad top on the side, they had to have a plan to deal with them.

There is a big difference between prototype and production tops. Webastos facility was delayed due to COVID. You can say that’s a BS excuse, but Michigan locked down harder than most states. Normally first production parts are being run six months before launch to work out theses issues. They delayed the start of production several months just so Webasto could get their equipment installed up and running. We’re three months into production, the fix is going to 1-2 months to get up to full volume. So five months from start of production to resolution.

This type of thing happens on every launch and the public never would of known. And for all of those who say they knew there was a pandemic, remember this all happened during the whole “14 days to flatten the curve” BS. We all expected the world to be back to normal by early fall.

I honestly would dump that order if I was part of the sand lot crew at this point and put in a new order if I really wanted a Bronco down the line, I would not want any of those sitting out there which will now at least be months.
Yeah, i think we are in a better spot then the people with passed build dates. Even if it is in 22, the people with VINS and build dates haven't been reached yet will get built first. With Hopefully the new improved Hard Tops. Only Time will tell, i have a feeling we haven't heard the worst news yet.

No. All Broncos with MIC’s at the plant are stuck there until the tops get replaced.

Good thing I saw this here, because I'll bet 2 million Fordpass points that I don't hear a word from my dealer.

Hard to argue with this logic:
So now what I'm curious about is with so many 21MY being pushed to 22MY, how is this going to affect those of us that will be putting in our orders in September for a 22MY. Seems like we'd be lucky to actually get a 22MY in 2022 with so many 21MY now being pushed into 2022.

I had a dual roof order and pushed to 2022 since I wanted mod top. I don't understand why I can't order dual roofs (accepting MIC at this point) and they deliver the roof when ready on THEIR dime outside of the cost of the actual option We have to pay for freight for a production issue? given everything that's gone on, I find this a fail. I told Ford this and they ignored me as someone was supposed to call me back about it and never did

I believe all new options and ordering for '22s were to be available in September and we would just be modifying an existing order and locked in with our current dealer. Besides, the grass isn't always greener.

It appears absolutely no WildTraks of any kind for 2021? That stinks.
After waiting over a year, what's another 6-8 months? It is what it is.

On the brighter side, maybe I'll be able to get a white mod top, drop the WildTrak graphics and add some crisp white retro stripes. 😂

My pessimistic views payed off, feel 100% better about 99’ing my order and waiting on a mod top.

Sorry to all of you stuck waiting. I think this is just the tip of the iceberg that is exposed above the water. I still think they are not conveying the whole truth and that the delay will be longer than anticipated.

It wouldn’t surprise me if MOD tops were pushed to MY24, and a lot of MIC builds don’t get completed till sometime in the first quarter of MY23.
