Agreed, how would we go about that?Great idea. I'd throw in some money to have some made for group members.
That’s what Jeep did with the Gladiator. My 2020 Launch Edition was delivered to me on May 25 2019.As I've said before, I wish Ford had pulled a '12 Focus and had an 18 month run of 2022 Broncos. Having a '21 and a '22 seems to be a bit more confusing. I'm sure there is some reason, but Ford has rarely started production of a model year in the middle of the year.
how did you get information like that??I'm a 6-22 got a recieved by cassens transport 7-27 ramp 4g. We might be parked next to each other. I just hope it means we're soon to be shipped and not destined for some over flow lot. I dm'd premierdrum about it (lol) I'm not sure who I'll hear from first my dealer or his reply after he gets through the mountain of messages in his inbox.
It most likely won't be your dealer you hear from first, they don't have any details on what the hold up is. I know this because my husband is my dealer and checks their system for updates for me daily.I'm a 6-22 got a recieved by cassens transport 7-27 ramp 4g. We might be parked next to each other. I was given a fleet tracker from my dealer (Erinwood ford)how did you get information like that??
damn, i'm in Canada and Ford of Canada makes Ford USA look like the most communicative company of all time!I was given a fleet tracker from my dealer (Erinwood ford)
My dealer is in Mississauga Ontario, they are a high volume dealer tho u think. But I haven't gotten a single email from Canada ford so i feel ya.damn, i'm in Canada and Ford of Canada makes Ford USA look like the most communicative company of all time!
You probably should have posted this in bold for those that have their ear plugs on.I couldn't disagree with this more - they appear to have no idea what's actually going to be delivered next week. They had full production planned for the next couple weeks and are suddenly shutting down.
Suppliers in every industry right now are simply not able to deliver. And it's a surprise. Food trucks show up at restaurants and just don't have what they were supposed to. Sherwin Williams just runs out of paint because suppliers don't show up. Things that are scheduled to be delivered are canceled - not in advance, but when they are supposed to be delivered.
It's actually getting worse in some segments.
The idea that Ford knows anything exact enough to project 120,000 orders is simply unrealistic. They can't accurately project a couple of weeks right now.
He's posted real pics of himself here, so they have a pretty good idea already.Seems odd you would reveal that you were off work last week AND the reason why you were off. As that could give an investigator a major clue as to your identity.![]()
yeah i've talked to my very small town dealer and they say the only thing they can give me is the "produced" info they get on thursdays. it still says its due to be here July 30 for them so thats like... not encouraging at allMy dealer is in Mississauga Ontario, they are a high volume dealer tho u think. This is pretty much a recap of op post.So....what we know - or think we know about Purgatory broncos:
- they are not sequestered waiting for chips
- they (at least the MICs) might have tops that already failed QC, and are awaiting replacement
- there were posts last week mentioning top 'repair', but that implies batches of broncos being repaired & released every day...I don't think we're seeing evidence of that
- the June Bronco deliveries that got the 'flawed-top' ball rolling mentioned tops deteriorating (snakeskin) over a few weeks time...perhaps these parked broncos have NOT been through QC yet & Ford is going to inspect them after 6-7 weeks
- perhaps they are missing a commodity that is common to all broncos
Any ideas to add? What do you folks suspect?
Most likely the dealer has told them what they see if the system they have.how did you get information like that??
Mine was due to be at the dealership in Ontario the week of July 19th, and it still said that in the dealers system their morning. I called Ford Canada again today and they told me that they can't see an eta.yeah i've talked to my very small town dealer and they say the only thing they can give me is the "produced" info they get on thursdays. it still says its due to be here July 30 for them so thats like... not encouraging at all
year we're pretty much in the same boat then, cause my dealer got another customer's Bronco (4dr, OBX, soft top) on Friday, which makes the 4th they've received, and mine was supposed to be the first lol. my build date was also moved, but only once!Mine was due to be at the dealership in Ontario the week of July 19th, and it still said that in the dealers system their morning. I called the transport company and they said they can see in their system they're suppose to have it, but it's on a "status hold" at the plant with Ford and has not been released for them to pick up. They have no idea why, or when they can pick it up.
Very frustrating especially considering the dealership received a stock unit on Friday that was built 4 days after mine said it was built.
