At this point, I'd be glad to not get my Bronco until July or August next year. I want the issues fixed. My order wasn't until 4/29 so I'm probably looking at next summer for sure. Which sucks, but is a good thing at the same time. As long as I don't fall in love with something else.... Coming on here and reading about build/quality issues kicks me in the nuts more than reading about delays.

Not sure Ford has a grasp yet on the issue...

It all depends, if they can't build any of the orders in front of you, but they can build your BB, you might rocket up the list more quickly than you imagine. I, personally, would have waited for hell to freeze over before going down to the BB because adaptive cruise control was a make/break option. Many other people feel the same way about their builds as well. So if they do hold strong, they you may luck out. I hope that you have a streak of good luck!

I’m going to test drive my plan b on Wednesday. A gladiator Mojave, well its between that and a Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel but those are impossible to find on the lot to test drive. It’s the only other option that I am interested in.

The 3.5/auto in the Tacoma is just not a good combo for a truck.
The ranger tremor is more than the Gladiator, I’m also not really a big fan of it.
The 4runner is meh.
The GX is too expensive.
The Land Cruiser is way too expensive.
The GM twins are well GM’s.

I am also leaning toward the Jeep’s cause I can get 8% under invoice and delivered by the end of Q1 22 even with the model year change..

With my April 21 res/order, I am guessing 2023 at this point which is way too long. 2nd/3rd Q 2022 would have been fine, but its looking more and more like a 2023.
If Jeep offered the two door with the Ecodiesel, I would be interested. Very disappointed it is only available on the Unlimited.

Ford is and has for awhile been only speaking to shareholders, not customers. They’re just saying things to make the stock prices rise. It’s the same reason why they did this half brained “reservation” system. Just to brag about how many reservations there are to raise stock prices regardless of their inability to actually execute the strategy.
So true. 125k Bronco pre-orders, 120k Lightning pre-orders and 80k Maverick pre-orders... what could go wrong, we're doing great?

At the moment Ford is intending to produce MY2021 units up until mid-December. So if you have a VIN now you’ll probably still get your Bronco before the cutoff date for MY2022. Still got four months left in MY2021 production.

BUT, still an interesting question. Would be curious what the answer is. I imagine you’d get a new VIN, but who knows.
You would have to get a new vin. because the “M” in spot 10 of the vin means MY21.
