Yesterday I spent 4+ hours in the Bronco traveling from Middle Tennessee to North Mississippi. Some encouraging notes:
1. I got 22 mpg. Yes it is the computer measurement, which even if 1+ mpg off, still indicates good mileage. Remember: I have 33" tires now.
A few caveats: I was in Eco mode and I was following my wife in a 32ft Winnebago.
2. I spent probably 20 minutes in a torrential downpour. I mean going 40 in a 65 because you can't see. Even with spray from the camper in front of me, no leaks.
I'm at 1500 miles. I plan to change the oil myself while we camp. I'll share anything worth noting.
EDIT: Let me say, too, that it is comfortable to ride in long-distance. I was pleased.
