everyone kept posting so i called the number

Next day got two emails
10:00 am said 8/16
8:43 pm email said 8/23
So i went from

Just got email from Ford. Initial build date set for June 22nd pushed to July 5 and now pushed to August. When will it end?
i'd imagine it'll end when it does
When it gets built. I was originally scheduled for June 28. Pushed back originally to July 19 followed by push back to august 2. Then pulled back to July 26, pushed to august 16. Now today told scheduled to day of august 16 instead of week

You are not alone. I too was pushed twice from June 28 originally to August 23rd. Two month delay; what makes no sense to me is how they can continue to issue VINs knowing they are already two months behind producing the vehicles they have already issued VINs for.Just got email from Ford. Initial build date set for June 22nd pushed to July 5 and now pushed to August. When will it end?
They aren’t two months behind, it’s because they thought they had the supplies for your build then things weren’t delivered on time so we are pushed back. Other builds without the constraints can continue being scheduled and built while ours bounce around because of certain options we do not want to give up.

it feels when people with vin numbers build dates get pushed backed the rest of us behind them gets pushed back ,at this rate Ford won't finish filling orders before 2030 .I am sure Toyota well introduce a vehicle to compete with the Wrangler and Bronco before ford can fill all orders.

How come I don’t get any email updates about change of build date? Only the initial email was received. I think most fall in this camp (and yes I check promotional / spam inbox too)
it’s incredibly annoying. I don’t want to ping my dealer more than once a week. And calling into ford sometimes take an hour. I am sensitive to the date particularly because I’m getting to just a few short days of overlapping my lease extension expiration. One week in either direction is starting to matter. Especially with a vacation thrown into the mix. It’s the difference of maybe 1,000 of real money to rent an SUV
