The GX is a great vehicle. If it wasn't a 10 year old design I would already be in that camp. That would be a very strong possibility then it would be off to Lexus for a GX460.

Thanks! With so much crap being tossed around, I had a panic attackNo, you're good, our agreements with reservation holders will stand. We will be marking up any stock units, but reservation holders will retain any deal we discussed on their ordered unit.
Our system posts all of our inventory as soon as it's added to our internal inventory. We added a large markup to prevent people from calling and asking to buy them (since they're all customer vehicles right now).
Ha!!! Here we go! Where’s my pile of chairs to throw? Good lord this things a dumpster fire.
Holy shit, 50k markup!!! Thats nuts
well, good to find out about a dealer I'll never do business with. $50 k markup? Really? That's just ridiculous. And they'll get it, enough rich techies with more cash than sense in the Bay Area.
Didn't they have a guy come in here to try to drum up business?
They have their own thread in the California regional forum too...
That and the 4Runner being so dated is probably the only reason I haven't moved on. There is basically nothing else I like as much as a Bronco in terms of styling. The GX is a great vehicle. If it wasn't a 10 year old design I would already be in that camp.
See my post above yours.I told you those ebay 5K markup Broncos were a steal!

What hurts your chances even more when dealer salesmen order Broncos for their dealer lot“Getting pushed to MY22” doesn’t mean what a lot of people act like it means. It’s not like all of a sudden you’re waiting another 52 weeks for your bronco.
“Getting pushed to MY22” could mean something as simple as instead of being built in the last week of Nov, your bronco gets built in the second week of December… it could even arrive on the same transport either way.
The only way that getting pushed to MY22 means worse is if you’re an otherwise late build and a whole bunch of early 99s get inserted before you at the MY22 change over…
But really, even if there weren’t a MY change over and all those 99s were in the running already, you’d be the in the exact same position.
…and from what I’m hearing the significant majority of 99s that were holding out for Mod tops right now are converting back to MIC tops… so they’re back in the running…
…and if they can’t build your bronco because of parts, it doesn’t matter whether they build a stock order or a retail order instead…
So my original point stands. You’re going to get your Bronco at the same time you were always going to, whether you get “pushed” to MY22 or not, and whether it was by an earlier reservation holder, a retail order that can be built, or a stock order that can be built.
The only thing that has changed through all of this is we’re seeing more and more how the sausage is being made.
Oh, it’s unfair to us? The ADM isn’t for you, it’s to make things more fair for us reservation holders. You are too kind. I’m glad you cleared that up. Thank you so much!We made the decision early on that cancelled units would be marked up. We view the availability of stock units at MSRP to be unfair to those who reserved and waited, thus a markup on those units.
I know! Now Granger has 203 Bronco allocations for 21MY — all at below-invoice pricing — and 71 builds are already scheduled (35% of their allocation). Just imagine what it’s gonna be like next year?!?Granger has more Bronco reservations than they sold new Fords in the past 4 years.

I blame the dealer because nobody is forcing them to charge it. My dealer doesn't on any vehicle including the GT. Dealers add shows them as dealer ordered.Just out of curiosity, why would you blame the dealer for what the market will bear?
I wouldn’t pay it, you wouldn’t pay it, but as you pointed out, somebody will.
I would be more interested in how they acquired them or do they even have them? Are those their mannequins?

I'm sure most reservation holders waiting a year plus would be happy seeing somebody who walked off the street buy one for the same deal as them without even having a reservation.Oh, it’s unfair to us? my point was you are positioning it as a favor to reservation holders, not the cash grab that it is. I’m not faulting anyone for taking advantage of supply and demand. But call it why it is; you’re trying to make as much money as the market will bear. It has nothing to do with doing the right thing for people in queue.I'm sure most reservation holders waiting a year plus would be happy seeing somebody who walked off the street buy one for the same deal as them without even having a reservation.
