My build was previewed Tuesday and I haven't received an email yet. Maybe they previewed this week and are going through next week since this was VIP and FE. I was neither of those.

I was told by my dealer in Houston that Ford will announce the rest of this year's production on 5/26. They skipped a few weeks on announcing anything because of all the delays. I have a FE on order so I definitely have been checking emails weekly. Nothing yet. Will see on 5/26 hopefully.. They just need to go ahead and change the model year to 2022 since the year will be half over when they all come out.

Got my email today as well. I was pretty surprised. When I converted my order I was #7 on their list of 224 Broncos reserved. When he called today he said I'm #3 on the list. Surprised that many people ahead of me didn't convert their order.

Sorry for my naive question, but how does this compare to the Bronco reveal? How many orders did you have the first day?

I’m curious how many Bronco customers cancel and go to the Lightning. I’m sure we’ll never see that number and hard to gauge who cancels vs. the dealership just continuing to bring in their order so they have another vehicle on their lot. But would be interesting to see.

That would be a weird switch. An F-150 won't fit in my garage so it's simply not a viable option because they don't make level 2 home chargers for outside charging that I'm aware of, and charging an F-150 outside from a standard outlet would take days.

I think we had north of 150 Bronco reservations from the first night into the first full day. I do see a lot of my Bronco customers also reserved a Lightning. I recognize a lot of the same people.

Personally, i have too much range anxiety to go with the Lightning . . . Where $70,000? Will buy 300 miles of range? I can't make any full day (450 mile) trip on one charge, and, I dont see enough charging stations out there to "fill up" on the way to the OBX. I'll either wait for solid state, or get a plug in hybrid Bronco (pickup?) In 3-5 years, trading in the Bronco I'm "getting" this Summer!

You could charge the Lightning outdoors, running the cable under garage door? Why not?
