I’m new here so forgive me if this has been asked before.
I was luckily chosen by my dealer as their priority build. I have not received a build date yet. Anyone else in the same boat?

What is your build? What has your dealer told you? Have they had anyone else get a build?

Given the number of FE’s and priority orders, and delays, and shutdowns, maybe it’ll be another few weeks. Good luck. 🤙🏼

Please tell me you have a Modular Top on your order sheet. Lol

But yeah, we'd need your detailed order specs to even take a wild guess at it.

You are the VIP. VIPs should have gotten dates in April.

Priority customers are not VIPs.

Priority treatment for 1-2 customer per dealership was granted by Ford as a benefit to dealers based on the number of each dealer’s converted orders, but the specific customers who received the priority treatment were chosen by the dealers after the fact from within their existing customer list (i.e., no increase in allocation).

VIPs were chosen by Ford as a benefit to Ford for specific business reasons (e.g., partnership/marketing/aftermarket relationships) and given to dealers to handle in addition to their allocation.

Erin is allegedly a priority customer, not a VIP.

Priority Build: Myth or legend?

I don't think anyone knows anything, except that no one here has taken delivery of a Bronco.

Yet.

But that makes it really easy to while away the time sharing our collective experience and, most importantly, our unfathomable knowledge, and even more importantly each of our unfettered opinion about the Bronco, Ford Motor Company, the best vehicle build, the reasons for the production delays, the best accessories and how you can get your vehicle more quickly than anyone else!

My opinion is that everything is totally random, and that not even Ford has a handle on how to deliver vehicles in a semi-apocalypyic world of part shortages, supplier delays, shipping glitches, and bit coin mining taking away car computer chips.

What is bit coin mining?

Who's next?

Priority just means that you’re basically given the earliest timestamp at your dealer… but it can’t make up for part/commodity shortages.

Basically, all things being equal, as soon as all the parts for your order combination are available, yours will be scheduled before anyone else at your dealer with the exact same build spec’d…

…but that doesn’t mean yours will necessarily be built before anyone else’s, at your dealer or nationwide.

(Remember, they may be missing part A for your build this time around, but next time around they have A but now they’re missing B…. All the cards have to line up, but when they do, you’d be first)

Not sure if I explained that well. Does that make sense?

Yeah I've basically given up on my reservation. Most likely won't see it until well into 2022.

When they lied about Adaptive Cruise control, I pretty much lost all hope.

btw up yours to Bitcoin miners. They are a cancer to economics.
